Visited here Monday for belated mother's day meal and was extremely impressed.
Food was delicious and very good portion sizes. The gentleman serving us was very friendly, efficient and a hit with both my baby and dog so that made me comfortable.

Gorgeous popular,family friendly pub. Kitchen open till 4pm on a Sunday. Huge child friendly garden. Ample parking including X3 EV Charging stations. I had the southern fried chicken burger and fries , he had the battered haddock with chunky chips & squashed peas. It was all very yummy.
Ok the atmosphere is good, but just feel like no where is perfect for everyone. To be honest we love stopping here for a drink and if time allows meals as well. I think it is one of the best pubs I have been to for a while.
Had an excellent burger with really friendly staff. Slight downsides were the service was very slow and the diet coke was flat.
There are electric car chargers in the car park (fast ones) and the pub is dog friendly.
Will absolutely go back based on the food alone.

Quite a niche little place tbh, the locals were semi friendly and the bar staff were extra friendly, a nice range of drinks on tap and the food was pretty good definitely needed more sauce but the portions were more than generous!
New owners and refurbished to a high standard will call again when in the area. Now 4 years later they have run the mill of covid. Out the other side and better for it. Still after a good place to stop with a large sunny garden with an area for the younger to keep occupied.

Excellent pub with alot of choice for food and drink. It has its own gin menu. The pub has lots of parking and a lovely outdoor space in the summer. The people that work there are extreamly helpful and friendly. Food was very yummy spoilt for choice with the menu. Food wasn't horrifically expensive.
Desperate for a car charger I found one here. Thank god for that! I’ve just had dinner whilst waiting for the charge. Atmosphere was friendly as soon as I walked in and despite not having my initial order request left, the alternatives I chose were excellent and service just right.

We stayed at the pub in our motor homes on the car park and it was great. The pub was warm and welcoming but the staff were amazing. The food was on another level. I couldn’t give more of a positive review. Staff 10-10 Food 20-10 Pub 10-10. Many thanks to you all.
Traditional pub with lots of free parking. Restaurant and bar area. Burger was good , bit dry for me though. Home made slaw very nice and nice touch of rock salt in fries. Price not very high compared to other pubs. Paid extra for cheese and for the bacon as well , with the burger. Friendly staff.
