Loved everything about this place. The food (breakfast) was great!. The tea room is pretty and well laid out. The fact that you can buy handmade original items and foods was a great bonus! I will be back.
What a great place, I wish it was closer to home. Absolutely delicious coffee, lovely cheese scone and a very fresh toasted panini with some of the best bacon I've had in a while. We love to go for a cooked breakfast the happy staff are lovely, I always enjoy going there, a good way to start the day.

We popped in on Wednesday morning on the search for a 'proper' fry up and I wasn't disappointed.
There is nowhere locally like it, where proper people, with experience, cook a fry up, amongst many other offerings.
The Croughton tea rooms offer that 'home cooked' experience, not just banging out deep
Very friendly, cosy atmosphere, delicious food whether you want sweet or savoury, it is highly recommended!
The cakes are fabulous and everybody is really welcoming.
Many occasions to buy little gifts, postcards and food.

Haven't been for a while, a couple of years, I was glad they were still there ( deservedly so ) - a well cooked breakfast, good coffee. Definitely worth a D-tour.

Lovely place, great menu for lunch; I had the Ploughman's which was lovely: great quality ham. Also baked potatoes, quiche, soup and sandwiches on the menu. Staff were super friendly, we will be going back... might try a morning visit next time for a proper fry up!

Passing through and decided to stop off for breakfast. Had a full English and all was excellent quality food and perfectly cooked and served by super friendly staff. Very reasonable prices and local handmade produce such as jams, marmalade, bread and eggs available to buy. Well worth a visit if you'
Beautiful tea rooms. Great food and lovely staff. They sell a collection of nick nacks too.
Sarah and her team could not have been more accommodating! We had the entire hall to ourselves for a baby shower. Sarah spoilt us with a delicious afternoon tea, the portions were very generous and very reasonably priced too.
Would highly recommend!

Hidden gem.
Recommended if your passing through. Nice location. Old fashioned school building. Eat food inside and outside. Very helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Drive up the side and park round the back. Usually park a motorbike out front on the road anywhere.
We had delicious scones and tea in this lovely tea room. The staff were lovely and told us about the history of the building when I asked what it was before.
