Came across this lovely pub on our way back from Norwhich . We are on holiday in Mundersly. Lovely welcoming place with an extensive menu which is served all day . The best meal we've had out all holiday . I totally recommend to anyone . Shame it's a bit too far away for us on a day to day basis .

Today we went along to the white horse crostwick following a funeral service,. The staff were so helpful before the day organising things then today they were so welcoming.
There were 20 of us and all our meals came out beautifully hot and the food was lovely, thank you, would definitely recommend to others

This place is beautiful inside and out, as soon as you drive into the car park you get that warm homely feeling, and it's obvious that great care and attention is given to all customers, great food, great choice of drinks, hot and cold and even a beautiful afternoon tea which I'm yet to indulge in 👌See you all soon 😍
I've been here 3 times now and every time it has been lovely! Food is delicious, well cooked and quick to serve with a huge variety to pick from. The place is always really clean and tidy with a gorgeous little outdoor to sit in when the weather is good. The staff are really friendly and pleasant. Strongly recommend for a proper pub meal! 💕
Great food, great staff and lovely atmosphere. There is plenty on the menu to choose from and a 'specials board' as well. It has a lovely cosy feel inside the pub with lots of things on the walls and shelves to hold your interest while waiting for your food. There are ample parking spaces and an outdoor area to have your food or drinks in the summer. If you haven't been to The White Horse before, try it once and I guarantee you will be back again.

Went here on a Sunday and although we had not booked, they squeezed us in. Huge menu as well as Sunday roasts and specials. I had the skate and my partner the steak and kidney pudding - both were excellent and we were too full for a pudding, although the range was very tempting including hot cross bun bread and butter pud.
I must single out the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff, who appeared to enjoy their jobs. Prior to having our meal, we were asked to move tables, so they could accommodate a large party. This was not a problem for us, but they comped us a drink for our trouble which was very kind. We will definitely return.
After a chaotic and unwelcoming welcome at local riverside pub The White Horse was a breath of fresh air. Service spot on and the food was delicious. So nice to not be served by loads of under 18's.... Makes such a difference. Thank you. See you soon.
We came in for lunch for my Nanny’s birthday today (11th March). I mentioned the occasion to the waitress (young girl with brown hair, seemed like a supervisor) and she went all out to make sure it was a special time with a free glass of wine and special dessert place. The other staff members were great too. Thank you all so much for making the day so special!

Reason for my rating wasn't for the food or the restaurant it's self, me and my partner have been regularly going to the white horse for lunch over the last 6 months. Also lovely food. This time round I had the big Yorkshire and sausages. The gravy they use was onion gravy which am allergic to onions. I asked if they wouldn't mind doing a normal gravy but sadly they wouldn't, which I will point out they did before. Everything else was lovely.
I am a wheelchair user and I went last Saturday with my husband and my parents for my 50th birthday, the access was no problem, there was plenty of room round our table and didn't feel cramped, food and service was lovely, staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice also to not have music or TV blaring out, you could have a nice conversation without shouting.
1st time we have visited your pub. Beautiful food great friendly atmosphere service great. We will visit you again before we go home from our holiday xx Thank you.
Excellent service. Waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Even bought the dog some gravy bones. Very popular pub. They fitted us in at short notice. Dog friendly! Food was delicious and plenty of it. We had roast chicken Sunday roast, fish in batter chips and peas and seafood lasagna. We all enjoyed our meals. I would highly the pub. I'm looking forward to going there again.
Had my mum’s birthday meal here last night and I’d let them know it was her birthday and the staff very kindly put a birthday balloon on our table and brought a bowl of ice cream out for her, singing happy birthday! Really nice personal touches and very much appreciated- thank you! Maddie
Just back from a meal out with friends. Atmosphere inside and outside was great, food was brilliant. My wife had mushroom and spinach lasagne, delicious. I had the beef and Guinness pie, thin pastry, chunks of meat delicious. My friend had the suet steak pie, thin pastry loads of meat, delicious and his partner had the skate, cooked to perfection. Thank you, we will be back.
Traditional pub interior giving a cosy yet spacious setting. Gorgeous decorations for Christmas. Food was good - fruit crumble was a highlight. Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff.
We've been going to this pub/restaurant for many years.
Before covid, we felt that it had been going downhill for a while regarding a massive menu which we found strange 🤔, cook and chill possible?
The interior was dull and dark. Food was just run of the mill.
I think the last time we went, I was very disappointed with the roast, so we decided to re visit at the weekend.
WOW just WOW, we both agreed that everything had changed, interior bright, reasonable menu size, absolutely fine. Staff were excellent, smiling and caring for what the customer is requesting, polite.
The food? AMAZING 👏.
We went to pay the bill and mentioning that we thought there was new owners in.
"No" was her answer and that the landlady has been running for 34 years!
10/10 The White Horse. We will definitely return and recommend.

We booked in at 7pm on the 28/09/2023, the staff were really great, friendly and made sure all our needs were met. The food was fantastic, not one person didn’t enjoy what they ordered and the food came really quick. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a great service/ meal.
