First time visiting here and we absolutely loved the place. We were served by fleur who was really friendly, fast, efficient and attentive and really sold the place. The food was so delicious and was served really decadent with attention to detail, every mouthful was heaven. The place itself just so gorgeous and cosy. The live music from The Wednesdays just made it even more amazing. Can't wait to return here! Thank you :)

Decent breakfast menu, good range of dishes, reasonably priced with unlimited tea & coffee. Also a very friendly place where you feel comfortable going alone to read the paper & enjoy great food & friendly service

Very good food from the start. The deserts were yummy. Place was very lively with a good vibe. The live band did distract and made conversation a little difficult, but they were quite good and played decent music.

Called in today for lunch with my mum. We had the vegetarian sharing platter. It was fantastic. Each item was freshly cooked and delicious. Burgers, vegetable tarts, battered halloumi, mushroom pots, sweet potato fries and dressed salad - scrummy.

Tucked away in the lovely village of Croston the Wheatsheah was well worth the drive. Menu, service and excellent food on a lovely summers day in the beer garden, what more could you want ?? Will be back soon.

Lovely place with good food. Stopped here as we were in the area and had great food. We were at the end of service so it was a bit quieter, but the landlord was friendly and very accommodating. Definitely recommend.

We had 2 visits last week (once with family and the second by our selves) the service was brilliant each time and the food excellent. Recommend the steak and ale pie!! (It’s very popular) and also the Big Pig Burger was amazing. The Malaysian curry was nice but a little plain. Can’t wait to go back!!

Lovely Pub in the heart of the picturesque village of Croston. The meals were well priced. I had the burger and fries, which was a well proportioned, very tasty meal. Great setting, with good parking, and delightful outdoor seating area.

Saw my Grandma for the first time since December 2019 and we came here, one of her favourite places. Food was exceptional and we absolutely loved it! Staff very friendly too!
