I work in the area and frequent this cafe once or twice a week. Fast friendly service. Good tasty locally sourced food. Good choice of meals on the menu and a seasonal menu board. John and his staff are good local people and a fountain of knowledge on the area. Pop in for good food with good banter
Lovely little cafe with staff who are up for a laugh and a bit of banter. All day breakfast, fantastic value. I've paid twice as much for stuff that wasn't half as good. Well worth dropping in and grabbing something to go if you haven't got time to stop and eat in.

Just right. We pop in to Poppy's at the drop of a hat. You get the same friendly greeting and excellent service without fail. Food is served without all the fuss of the so called "trendy" places near by. Poppy's is just easy to be in.

Good lunchtime and breakfast menu that doesn't cost a bomb! I'm a fan of their LOADED baguette with salad and cajun chicken for just £3!!
