Spent a lovely Mother's Day here with Mum and my sisters. A little disappointing at the start, being shown to a very dark, dingy corner and having to read the menu using the torch on our phones and the flower on the table was certainly past it's best . However after speaking with a member of staff, we eventually moved tables to a much brighter spot. From there the food and the service were impeccable. We all ate from the special Mother's Day menu, which offered an amazing choice over 3 courses. We all selected the Sirloin of Beef Roast as our main. The selection of vegetables served was astounding, Leeks, Carrot, peas, Kale, Parsnip and roast potatoes with Yorkshire Pudding. The Beef being cooked to perfection. The pudding also did not disappoint. We chose differently, with Apple and Damson Crumble, Lemon Posett and Sticky Toffee Pudding, each of them delightful. The service provided by the staff was delightful. So friendly, polite and respectful. A big thank you to the Pheasant Team.

Looked after by Millie who worked so hard for our table of 15 for my dad’s 70th Birthday. All the food came out at the same time, there was a small issue with one of the meals which was rectified instantly, and even delivered the birthday cake with perfect timing and plates and cutting knife ready. Flo prepared the food which was delicious - largely roast dinners, but pasta and fish for some of the party. Will be back!

As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by yummy smells and the smile of the lovely lady that seated us. Our server, Jackie, was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her service was fabulous and before our meal had ended we were planning our return. Thanks to Flo, the chef, for our AMAZING food (my husband was made up with the lamb rump and the rich, delicious sauce it came with, and I was chuffed with the gorgeous, crispy skinned, pan fried seabass.) Our desserts were fabulous - a mini cheesecake and espresso martini for me and a biscoff chocolate bomb for hubby - and the starters we had were bloody delicious 😋 olives, pate and cheesy mushrooms - what's not to love?! Will 100% be back. 👍

Haven’t been to the Pheasant for some time, no reason really just don’t go that way much. Can honestly say the evening was extremely enjoyable, everything was great. The food was so tasty and at perfect temperature. The service was excellent also.

The Pheasant Inn is a nice place to visit for a meal or just a drink. We came across it whilst driving to Crosby, so on out way back to Southport we decided pop in for a quick drink and a meal. Our food was extremely tasty and was served nice and hot, our drinks were nice and cold, and the staff were nice and friendly. The scenery was very pleasant indeed. The Pheasant Inn was very clean inside and out, I've not really got any complaints. Thank you...

What is there not to like about the Pheasant. I called and asked if they were dog friendly...yes they said..so when I arrived thinking Harrybeau 🐾 and I would be put around the back or in the area out of the way to my surprise we were sat in this lovely quaint area so bonus points as you know with me...if you don't want my Harry you don't want my money. So the food I asked for a double burger as it wasn't on the menu...and the staff were very happy to do this for me... All the food on the menu sounded wonderful and I can't wait to return and try the Sea bass.

Really great meal and service, as always! We were served by Jackie, who ensured we had plenty of time to review the menu and was super friendly. Across the three of us, we had a range of staters and mains - all of which were prepared with obvious care and attention by Ben and Ethan. I would 100% recommend The Pheasant to anyone looking for a cosy family friendly spot for lunch or dinner. Great quality, and great service!

Well organised, and booking recommended if you're going at peak times. Outdoor seating is next to the road, but there are screens which shield you from feeling like you are too close. As a guide starter + main with two drinks was £60 Food was all well cooked and with good quality ingredients, would recommend

Staff and food fabulous as always. Carpark was busy as was the traffic getting in due to the pumpkin pickers. Service was a bit slower than usual but we were not in any rush and all staff were very apologetic

We had lunch there and it was above the norm, Michelle and other staff were very efficient, friendly and professional. I was there with several members of my family and all agreed they would be delighted to dine there again.

Top notch food and a super engaged team which is fundamental to a great pub. I felt at home even though I went casual in my brown shoes and body warmer. Nice flowers!

Great service complemented the lovely food that we were served this afternoon. Beef brisket and cheese pies are delicious and the curry is spicy!!! Fully wheelchair friendly. We will be back!!!

It was a nice place to go for a meal but we had a little problem after taking our order for nine of us they forgot to give it to the chef so we had to wait one hour plus to get our meal . On the plus side they did apologise and gave us some dips and drinks. I would go back again the food was good.just one of them nights 🫣
