And what can I say for the food?!? Highly recommend the seafood platter and the ploughman’s platter absolutely amazing! All cooked to perfection, every element tasted like heaven! Definitely coming again!!
We stopped for lunch. Very impressive range of beer. I had the seafood platter and it was like nothing I had ever had before. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Red Lion. Will visit again if we visit Cromer again.
Great food & drink, fabulous staff, and near the seafront in Cromer.
The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was special and worth the visit on it’s own. The range of local brews kept my husband happy.
Would recommend especially if you like the Norfolk Coast.
Had a meal yesterday,seafood plater for 2 it was fabulous,lots of different gin to choose from.staff are very friendly, recommend the food.also a conservetry to lounge in,very nice.
Excellent pub with a great selection of beers, dog friendly, very tasty well priced food and fine views over the sea if you’re sitting in the right place !.

Enjoyed another lovely Sunday Lunch here in warm, friendly & relaxing surroundings. The food here has never disappointed & the staff are always friendly & do everything they can to give you a relaxing meal.
Just back from an overnight stay at the red lion. We booked this only two days before for my husbands birthday, fab place, our room although small was very clean with fantastic views out to sea. Our dog was made very welcome with biscuits, water bowl and her own clean bed. Often when travelling with a dog you are given a very inferior room, not here. We would thoroughly recommend this place, perfect for exploring the Norfolk coast. The breakfast was fabulous
Booked a table for an evening meal, I had the home made burger my wife had the chicken both were absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
Had a Lovley Lunch of Homemade fish finger sandwiches with coleslaw chunky chips my sister had the same and had a order of seaweed fritters and my nephew and his wife had the seafood platter and his boy had beans on toast plus they had an order of Belgian chocolate ice-cream service was Lovley and very welcoming �
Just had fantastic fish and chips and all the trimmings here. Dog friendly and so welcoming. Can highly recommend. First class.
This really is a must stay. The rooms are clean and well presented. The breakfast is great, the staff amazing. The atmosphere in the pub in the evening is brilliant and if you want something to eat in the evening don’t think about going out the food is brilliant. We stayed for 4 nights and tried something different each evening. It was all tasty and well presented. If you are in the area book a room
