What a find! Lovely food and impeccable service, particularly Kwame whose sunny disposition and attention to detail made for a wonderful evening. The staff even sang happy birthday to my partner with gusto! Would definitely recommend this gem to anyone looking for a new dinner spot in North Norfolk!

We were told about this place by the owners of the cottage we rented. It was absolutely spot on! The food was delicious, and the staff were brilliant. Made for a wonderful last evening of our holiday. Will go back if in the area again. Not one to miss.

Very impressed with this restaurant in Cromer. Tasted like authentic home-cooked Punjabi food. The flavours were delicious and amazingly did not feel "heavy". We asked for everything to be mild as we were dining with our small children - and our wishes were followed without any compromises to flavour. This is a one of a kind place and the service was very good too. Thank you!

One of the best Indian meals i have had in a long time, everything we had from start to finish was expertly cooked and wonderfully presented, even though we had our small dog with us we were made to feel welcome. Highly recommend. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic food totally different from the usual Indian restaurant in UK which, however good, is Bangladeshi style. Great atmosphere in which to enjoy the variety of tastes. Very impressive wine list too - I never thought that some of the wines that Himmat recommended would match hot spicy food so well.

Lived in and around Cromer for the last 8 years and visited Indian On The Cliff for the first time this evening. I have visited hundreds of Indian restaurants over the years and this is in the definitely top 10%. Freshly cooked and great tasting. Waiting staff impeccably trained, they asked for the level of heat on every dish to everybody on the table and delivered that perfectly. Drinks selction is also fantastic. Will definitely return. 5*'s

We were staying very locally to the restaurant with our dog & 3 month old baby and for ease ordered a takeaway meal. Along with being ready within the hour and cooked to a preferred spice, it was absolutely delicious. Will be having more meals when we return on future trips, delightful!

Update november 23. So dissapointed. Bland. Didnt have Danzak. Rice not cooked. Chiken thigh. Oh well...... Read all the reviews. Came here with some trepidation . Wow! 5 star food. But what really made it. Was the staff. Marianne. She looked after us. Great service. Great experience. Owner isn't very friendly. Thank you.

Lovely food, quickly served. The staff were lovely. We witnessed dreadful behaviour from a couple shouting at the young staff, totally unjustified and uncalled for. She was very shaken. I wish everyone experienced working in the service industry.....it may improve their behaviour!

Food was fantastic. Best curry we've had in a long time. I had a fish curry (Cod) great taste and very tender. My wife had a chicken tikka masala, it was one of the best she has ever had. All natural ingredients and not processed. not to sweet and impressed how you can choose between mild medium and hot for all the dishes. An all round good night. One thing while the service was efficient it lacked a little warmth. Whilst a little pricey it was worth it, we will definitely be back. Thank you for a good night.

This restaurant is really special. The food and the service are by far the best in the area. Truly authentic Punjabi dishes and all at very reasonable prices. It is a treat to go there knowing that whatever you order will be amazing. A drink at the Red Lion opposite is also a great way to get the evening off to a good start! On the Cliff is simply the best, I can't say more than that!

Had what I can say the best curry ever at Indian on the Cliff. Clearly cooked by someone who cares about what they do. Staff were excellant and attentive. Only spoiled a little by a complete bell end who came in shouting about his takeaway being cold when he was 20 mins late then drove to North Walsham and wondered why! Poor staff but they dealt with him well.

What a hidden gem. Authentic Punjabi (not ā€œIndianā€, not Bangladeshi - but Punjabi) cuisine cooked ā€œhome styleā€. We stumbled across this place on our last trip to Cromer, and have just been back 4 months later and itā€™s still as good as the first time. Staff are fantastic (especially Lauren) and the owner, Himat Singh, is a lovely gentleman. Still canā€™t believe we found food ā€œjust like mum makes itā€ in Cromer of all places!
