We called into Cromer because we wanted a Cromer Crab sandwich for lunch and ended up in the Crab Pot cafe. The sandwich was first class and the pot of tea was served in lovely crockery. All in all a great experience

I visited this little cafe yesterday. The decoration inside was lovely as was the food and owner. Nothing was too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend it. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

Just want to give credit where it's due, visited The Crab Pot Cafe today with my family and we all agreed we would most definitely return. Food is fantastic, my daughter and hubby had a breakfast, my mother a crab sandwich and myself a ham and mustard sandwich all of which were very fresh and tasty. Prices are good and the staff very friendly. All in all a little gem of a place and we will definitely return. Well done 5*

We visited today for a tea and a coffee. It was about 2.30pm. The lady serving told us they had sold out of crab. The drinks cost us £5.00 and they were brought to the table. I enquired if a ladies restroom was available but unfortunately there are no facilities on site. We paid and left the cafe in search of toilet facilities.

My and my partner popped into Crab Pot Cafe almost on the stroke of midday which is when this cafe stops offering the breakfast menu. The lady kindly accommodated our breakfast request which we placed quickly as we realised we were cutting it fine. The breakfast was not only tasty but also good value. We were both really hungry when we arrived and fully content when we left. The lady providing service on this Sunday was friendly and efficient, the cafe was nice and relaxed for the most part. Unfortunately towards the end of our visit, just after ordering another coffee around 2-3 groups of people entered the cafe with dogs. I really like dogs but they all started barking at each other with fairly shrill barks which was far from relaxing within the fairly small cafe environment. We drank our coffees and left shortly after due to this disturbance. I've only rated the cafe down ever so slightly due to understanding that this is not going to be the normal situation and realising how difficult this is for the staff/owners to be able to manage. I'd definetly return if in the area and I'm sure it is a massive rarity to encounter ill-behaved dogs (or moreso irresponsible dog owners!!) in this or any other establshment.

We arrived cold and hungry just 25 mins before closing but were made to feel incredibly welcome and not rushed at all. Excellent freshly made crab sandwiches. The owner was friendly and welcoming and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cafe. Will definitely return next time we visit the area.

Amazing staff, warm, friendly and welcoming, just make it a really nice place to stop for a light bite. Crab of course is excellent, as are the sandwiches and breakfasts. Can't recommend strongly enough.

What an absolutely fantastic little cafe. We visited after conducting a google search and weren’t disappointed. We had to wait a few minutes for an empty table but the owner kept us informed during our wait. The crab was fresh, tasted amazing, and was very reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly too and I had a good chat with him.

Came here with my boyfriend and family, and all had delicious meals with locally sourced crab. There are a range of dishes available, all with generous servings of crab (and some non-crab dishes too), very reasonably priced.

They had no crab as it was new years eve and the fishermen had not been back to work.. Was going to go elsewhere but so glad we didn't. The owner was lovely and friendly along with the young lad behind the counter who served us. I had the vegetable lasagne which was so tasty and a good portion! Boyfriend was happy with his panini. They do lovely tea pig teas here. We had a millionaire shortbread to take away, all cakes are homemade and there's lovely little selection, it was lovely!!! A good little find and would come back if in cromer again! Really tasty homemade food..Thank you.

We visited the Crab Pot for breakfast, in search of some local Cromer crab, and we weren’t disappointed! Delicious crab salad, very fresh and nicely presented, and a veggie breakfast which was just right, hot and fresh. Lovely service and a very tastefully decorated place with little woollen crabs for sale too! Don’t miss this place when you visit Cromer.

What a gem! We had delicious, plump and fresh crab sandwiches and the kids enjoyed a special kids meal with plenty of options. Cakes were eye-poppingly good and all with really great homely service. Highly recommended for a meal or just tea and cake. High chair available but toilets are limited.
