The food here is really nice. The 3-meat sandwich could feed a family of lions. (The photo I've added was a fraction of the sandwich). The scone was warm, fresh, and spankin' gorgeous! Nice pot of tea to go with it. The staff were lovely and personable. Highly recommended for a quaint British lunch! We had a late lunch so the restaurant was quiet but they played good music for us. I imagine during busy periods there's a lovely atmosphere, reminiscent of way back when.

Very special place, lovely service, just warm and welcoming people. Highly recommending, especially for coeliac people that need the extra attention to detail. Staff was very confident and accommodating. The food was also good, and the atmosphere was cozy. Great for everyone individually dining or small group of may 6 tops as the space can be limited.

This is the best meal I have had in a long, long time. Forget Michelin stars, Browne's is the real deal. Absolutely delicious, fresh...that Crab.....

Portions are enormous and delicious. Friendly and intimate. Chilli (pictured), crab or one of the enormous filled baguettes all recommended.

If your in the town then this is the place to eat. The best little cafe in town with great prices, large portions and daily specials. I’ve had the best fish here and now the best warm chicken salad. A proper salad with grated carrot, olives, sweet corn etc nothing boring. Their new potatoes served proper with good real butter and salt on. The owners, Bob, Christine and James are so welcoming too. Such a little Gem of a place.

This place is fantastic. Such lovely friendly people and the food is truly excellent. Fresh and extremely generous portions. I had a ham and cheese ploughman’s and my partner had a Cromer crab sandwich, both were delicious and the ploughman’s would have fed two people. The menu is extensive but freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. There is also a lovely garden to sit in with a fish pond and beautiful plants. Welcome shade for us on a hot day. Great place.

Love this place! Staff are so friendly and welcoming and James the chef is a fabulous cook. Good healthy and delicious home cooked food, served with a variety of vegetables which is so rare these days in any eatery. Delicious cakes. Caters for all dietary needs. Light meals, breakfasts, main meals… or just a cuppa! Great selection. Thoroughly recommend! 🙌

We visited this lovely restaurant hidden away in Cromer and ordered the Seafood Platter between us...what a treat, the mackerel pate was superb as was the dressed crab. The whole meal was delicious and we would thoroughly recommend the establishment, the service and the food...

Found using Google and trip advisor. Great little place. Staff were superb! I had the crab baguette and my wife the ham sandwich. Both were great! We finished with some fruit scones which were also brilliant. To top it off you get a decent size pot of tea! Well done to the owner and the team. We will return!

Don't be misled by this modest shop front and simple decor. The welcome is very friendly...the menu extensive and all home cooked food to perfection at a very reasonable price. We have visited many times and are always impressed. Spotlessly clean..Great home cooking and alcohol licence as well...you simply can't go wrong.
