Absolutely perfect end to a dog walk at Shearwater! The manager was absolutely lovely I think she said her name was Millie she was very helpful and friendly she even added extra wood to the fire for myself and my dog. The food was well worth the price the scotch egg was superb and the egg itself was runny my ploughman's was fresh and delicious.

We have been watching for the Bath Arms to reopen. We went in for Bank Holiday lunch. It was worth the wait and we will come back again soon. Could not fit in a pudding.

Fabulous country inn, full of character. Attentive polite staff and the best Sunday lunch. Asked for a doggy bag, but it was for me, really! Highly recommended as it was faultless.

Yesterday I went to celebrate my birthday with two friends and my dog. We had the most delicious lunch beautifully presented. The menu was very imaginative and it was hard to choose! Cannot recommend this Bath Arms highly enough - we will definitely be back. Five stars aren't enough!

The nicest pub around by far! We came last Saturday for lunch and the food was just perfection! Also the lady who served us, I don’t know her name but I recognised her from the angel before it was shut down, was simply the loveliest person! The two tables in front of us left at the same time and I watched as she took their payments and each person she went to said how kind, welcoming and amazing her service was! It goes to show what a wonderful impact she has on people!! To be honest all your staff are lovely, and it makes the biggest difference! Bath arms is now the pub we will always take friends to when they visit because you know what you’ll get, great food and great, friendly service! Would give 10 stars if I could!! Thank you!

We were a very large group of 16, and the restaurant was more than happy to serve us in a private room. Prompt and courteous service. Chap looking after us was completely on top of the ball. Nice and new renovation made the place very charming. Only downside is that I have to say the chef was a bit too fond of his onions, in that the Onion Bhaji was very strong.

Wonderful to see the refurbished Bath Arms alive. The food was absolutely delicious, very high standard, wonderful, well thought flavours and textures in the plate. The Manager was asset, very welcoming and great service. The bar was run with a great knowledge and the young lady was very personable and ran the front of house well . . Definitely recommend and looking forward to returning soon . . Many thanks

Had a great meal here. Really nice atmosphere and good food - one of the very best in the area. Great beer selection too (local) and great to see young staff being given the opportunity to work in a great pub. Look forward to returning.

A proper English pub - glad to see it has re-opened. Really nice people and service and a good atmosphere. I hear what people are saying about prices, but I just paid similar prices in Surrey for something that was nowhere near as good as The Bath Arms. Game Pie (Excellent - very filling too) and my wife had the beef which was very tender. They also bake their own bread on the premises. Full marks all round.
