We'd heard good things about this place so we popped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. And we were very pleased we did. There were plenty of tables free and we had a good seat by the window. It was a very good brunch menu augmented by some interesting specials. In the end we both went for the braised spicy cauliflower taco with coleslaw, grilled halloumi, tomato salsa, advocado and salad. Unusual and delicious. I enjoyed a very thick vanilla shake and my wife had a very nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. This place is closed on a Monday, but open every other day of the week, although opening times vary so do check. This was good inventive tasty food in a pleasant setting with great service at a sensible price. I have no doubt we'll be back again.

Impeccable service. Friendly staff and quick delivery of food, even when busy. Some unusual dishes on the menu - the haggis was 👌. And lots of beers on tap.

An exceptional venue in the heart of Cricklade, serving delicious fresh food to order, along with a great range of drinks. All this served by friendly, polite and professional team. Next time I'll take a picture of my food too before I've ate it!

Great food and lovely setting. They have a good range of food and cater very well for vegetarians. I have eaten here many times and recommend everything!!!!! The food is cooked fresh and tastes delicious. During the day the place is great for breakfast brunch and lunch. In the evening they often have live acts which is great. This is a great place to come for a romantic meal, catch up with friends or even some alone time. Definitely recommend

Visited here a few times now, food has always been great, as has the service. Visited for breakfast and evening drinks, both times the atmosphere has been great. Prices are very good. Plus there are a good range of vegetarian options. Less vegan options but some items can be changed to vegan if required. Overall a lovely place, very much worth a visit.

We went for brunch and ordered the eggs balmoral (pictured), vegetarian tacos, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and scrambled eggs with sausages. Everything was delicious and made with very high quality, local ingredients. Might not be the cheapest place around, but you get what you pay for, and in that respect it's good value. The place is cosy and has a lot of light and fresh air. The staff are all friendly, all attentive and they cater well to families. 9/10.

Stumbled across this place while staying down the road. Food was mega, we sat outside which was near a car park but the inside was really nice Great selection of breakfast foods, I had the salmon and eggs which I must say was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef because it was one of the best breakfast meals I've ever eaten, salmon fillet was massive and smoked to perfection. My other half had the granola and that was delicious too. Well worth a visit if your staying nearby however I can imagine it gets quite busy, we were a walk in and managed to get somewhere though Staff really friendly, our waitress even advised on a few things to do in the local area, would defo return!!!

Akin to an Aussie cafe- absolutely fabulous food. Not far off the main A roads and well worth the detour. Relaxed vibe, great food- what’s more to want.

Been several time and always been impressed with the coffee and eggs and bacon. Had the Huevos Ranchons which tasted lovely. The only minor was it was not warm enough and cold mid way through. Still loved eating it! 😂

Lovely venue - really busy so some food unavailable- but staff offered smaller portion at reduced price, or recommended other suitable products. Worth a visit.

There is something about their sourdough toast and jam that makes me just want to go back for more. They are not a one trick pony either. Their bacon, egg and sausage combination was good (sausage could have looked a little more cooked) and their coffee was good. Returning soon

Had a breakfast brunch, poached eggs with sourdough toast and field mushrooms with a Benedict Sauce, what a great dish, cooked to perfection, with very little wait. Very friendly accommodating staff. Would certainly recommend.

Visited after a walk around North Meadow and had nice brunch. It was about 1.30 and most of the specials were finished, so looks like you need to get there early! Lovely food we tried cauliflower taco (delicious) and breakfast muffin.

The best stop in Cricklade by far. I've been a few times now and it has always been outstanding - the food, the service, the drinks and especially the staff. It's always such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the staff do really well to make you feel completely welcome and at home. There's a great, rotating selection of craft beers and ciders topped off by a wide range of bottled drinks, and also the best coffee for miles around, all served up with a smile. The food also deserves a special mention: not only can you watch it be prepared through the open partition, but it's also wonderful. There's a regular cast of delicious dishes and also a constantly-changing specials board where the kitchen team really let loose and create some amazing dishes, such as the sesame-crusted seared tuna salad I've attached a photo of. I'd also highly recommend eggs in the woods, the braised beans and the spiced cauliflower tacos from the regular menu, which are all firm favourites. There's a good selection of vegan and vegetarian food, and the kitchen also cater very well for allergies such a gluten. Even some of their indulgent brownies (which should not be missed) are vegan and gluten-free. If you haven't much time, you can also get most of the food and hot drinks to go, which is all packaged in eco-friendly containers. It can get busy, so ringing to book is probably a good idea of you're a larger party, or going at peak times. It's the best place to stop for food in Cricklade, and much better than anywhere in Swindon, too. Well worth a trip to visit.
