Had fish and chips. No plaice on menu. Fish was very nice with crispy batter and the chips were nice too. A little more expensive than I'm used to but very enjoyable. Opened at lunch , 12 -2 and from 5pm to 10pm, not all day as on Google maps.

Excellent fish, chips Irish Curry sauce and mushy peas. The only disappointment was after driving home to Llangynidr around the mountains due to a diversion that the battered sausage was missing ftom our order. Please donate it to a deserving person.

We're new to the area so this was our first visit. We phoned our order through and only had to wait a couple of minutes on arrival. Large cod and large chips was plenty big enough for my wife and I to share. Friendly staff - service with a smile. We'll be back!
Lovely take away. Extremely welcoming. Good banter with owner, staff and customers. Food is excellent too. Small is big!

Take away meal of cod and chips freshly cooked in what tasted like a tempura batter served in a box with tartar sauce and a wedge of lemon. Had lots of other options on the menu such as chicken wings with bbq sauce, sausage in batter etc. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed.
Fantastic chips! Nice pie, sausage, scampi, beans but really very good chips. The world (Britain at least) is full of people who think they come from a place that does great chips. I'm no exception but these are at least equal to my favourites.

Ok but nothing out of this world. Chips where very good. Pizza was not great very bland, thought it would be great as they have pizza oven. Burgers not bad little over cooked and dry, but plenty of salad and plenty of chips. Would go back for another try.
