Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch here. Friendly, hard working staff, good beers, and a delicious vegan nut roast. The only negative I can think of is that one of the ales had gone off, so I was immediately given a different choice. The car park was tricky as it is so popular. We were really impress
Stumbled across this place due to staying near by, and we took a chance and booked a table for dinner on Saturday. Well I'm so glad we did as the food/service was amazing! What impressed us the most was the effort and standard of food for our son's main. Usually children meals get plonked on the pl
We stopped off for a late afternoon meal and found it was a very friendly pub. We had 2 meals which were excellent, freshly cooked and presented well. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be making it a regular place to stop whenever we are passing. Well worth a visit for the great
What a little hidden gem! We was staying at Cwmdu campsite (a short walk away) and decided to try the pub for a roast! It was delicious, extra gravy & cauliflower cheese with a selection of 3 veggies! All of us had a pudding - which was also yummy! Great portion sizes! Dog friendly too! They also of
This pub is in a really lovely setting. We visited from the campsite down the road and found nothing but beautiful local ale and friendly day staffed. It is what it is, a lovely community ran pub that serves good hearty food and ale. Would definitely visit again!
Great local pub, very welcoming. Food was really tasty and well presented. To top it off a great view! (Dog friendly)
Had Sunday Lunch today and it was worth every penny, Beef was melt in your mouth, highly recommend. Friendly staff with prompt service. Will definitely be visiting again.
Lovely pub, they had last minute availability for us and they were very busy. Food was great and a lovely atmosphere for such a remote location.
As visitors to the area. We could not have been made to feel more welcome and comfortable. Staff all very friendly and attentive, kind to our children and clear it wasn’t only a locals place. Even though it was packed with locals for the rugby. It’s a real community pub with a good kitchen too.
Great food (best beef & ale pie I've ever had - other than my wife's homemade pie), good beer, friendly staff, and nice ambiance - what else do you want from a pub?
Had Sunday lunch here today with Dad and the wifey. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. I always say the staff are a true reflection of an establishment and the girls here were lovely, attentive and friendly. Coupled with an absolutely fantastic meal, it was a smashing experience. My only gripe - a little m
Exactly what you want in a local pub great Sunday roast with really friendly service
A great pub. Popped in for a drink after walking in the area and noticed delicious looking food being served at the tables. It is a community pub that is well served by the locals who were friendly.
Amazing roast dinner and such nice staff. My partner requires gluten free and they were very happy with making sure everything was safe. Would recommend to anyone!
Lovely little pub with delicious food and friendly staff
Stopped here for a quick coffee on the way to Clarach. Very friendly and served good tea and coffee.
Excellent service, lovely food, absolute treat of a place. Definitely going there again when we stay up the road. Very impressed. Nice old pub with history, I just didn't take any photo unfortunately.
