Great pub, we were on a Narrowboat for the week and stopped at Crick. Went into 2 pubs close to each other and the Wheatsheaf won out for us to sit at and take a load off. Nice staff and a good selection of drinks. Great selection of meals from bar meals to full size restaurant style meals. We went
Booked in for a meal with friends for one of their birthdays and we all had a Sunday roast, two beef (one of them large) and one veggie, it was delicious, great ingredients (tasted like mum's old roasts where everything bar the meat was grown in the garden) and all cooked perfectly. A lovely pub / diner set in a lovely village. All the staff were very friendly and the food delicious. The only reason I have knocked 1 star off was the fact that they let dogs into the restaurant area. Not very hygienic and the dog kept barking which was a little annoying. Would definitely go back
Great canalboat lunch stop for 7 of us. Marvellous special of fishcakes & Thai curry, pizzas for some, all 7 meals top drawer. Great service. Highly recommend
Great stay, staff very warm and friendly. Had a lovely evening meal stayed in a comfy room . Breakfast was over done as we were the only table having breakfast at the time it should have been perfect did speak to the waiter and explained would defiantly visit again
Great stopover on our trip up north Lovely room, clean and comfortable and friendly staff. Food excellent as well. Highly recommended will probably use again on next trip.

A really nice village pub. There is a good choice of beers and wines and the menu is varied. The food options we chose were excellently cooked and presented and prices are reasonable.
Very nice pub clean tidy well presented. The food was very good with plenty of choice. Will definitely go again
