Lovely quaint place that really is what it says on the tin "a traditional tea room" filled with lots of interesting pieces and pictures to look at. It brought back lots of great memories of childhood holidays.A family run business with lovely, friendly service. The bara brith was very tasty and would recommended. Just to be aware its cash only. Will definitely visit again, thank you

We absolutely LOVED this place. Quirky, old-fashioned, fabulous tea room serving great food and drinks at really reasonable prices. Loved all the memorabilia from years gone by, and the lovely friendly family running it. Will definitely return.

Great variety of snacks. We have just had quiche and side salad. It was by far the best homemade quiche I have ever had. We had a pot of tea and cake to finish with. Excellent value for money. Great surroundings. Immaculate cleanliness. Staff courteous polite well mannered. A little gem of a place. Highly recommend you pay them a visit. We will definitely be returning..

Always make a stop here when visiting Criccieth to get my day started with a nice cuppa and a scone and cream. Very friendly service and decent pricing and the old home is full of old ornaments to keep you entertained. They have outdoor seating to the front and rear but I always prefer the ambiance of the inside.

Had a brilliant time here! A lovely quaint tea rooms. The lady that owns it came and spoke to us, she's so lovely. She's lived here most/all her life and the collection of curiosities inside proves this. From the keys with pride of place in the hallway to the jugs hanging above the fireplace and strategically from the low ceiling in the living room, this cottage has tales to tell. If you get to speak to Irene, she will impart some of them. We ordered homemade tomato and basil soup with rolls, tea, hot choc, tuna roll and bara brith. We were served relatively quickly considering how busy it was. Welsh Brew Tea was served in China tea cups and was a welcome refreshment. My son enjoyed his hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream piled high! The soup was delicious and flavoursome. This building is not purpose built, it used to be someone home, in the 1930's. If you are looking for tradition and for history, you've found it here. This Caffi Cwrt has an abundance of love, affection, tradition, history, collections and some wit, humour and wise phrases thrown in with the odd wall hangings dotted around. We will definitely be back in the not too distant future. Thank you to Irene, Sioned and all the smiley friendly staff here, even though you were all so busy. It is noted and much appreciated ❤

Beautiful little café with a sizable menu full of classic, vintage food and drink options. The staff were friendly and pleasant, the outside garden is a lovely place to relax, it's not particularly expensive, the food quality was great, everything was clean and tidy, would definitely recommend.

The Tea room has been in the same family since 1933 apparently - a lovely quaint old school team room. Decor is authenticly dated. Tea and cake served in old China. Would like to have seen the teapots to match. Staff were lovely and the sandwiches made freshly to order. Would highly recommend.

My mum and dad first came here years ago and always talked about how nice it was, so now I come with my family. The staff are always friendly and polite, the food is fresh and delicious and the setting lovely. Came today for lunch, my husband chatted with the owner and said how nice she was. We will be back

Recommended this place by a local who suggested that it was a great placed to have a drink and scone. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a wide range of different teas and coffees on offer. There was a wide range of food. All food and drinks are excellent priced. The service is good and the food and drink are good quality. You can sit outside the front of the building or round the back in the garden or indoors.

In Criccieth for nearly a week over the Bank Holiday period and in Caffi Cwrt four or five times. Food, coffee, tea and reception were all as excellent as ever. I know that the owner had problems with staffing over the immediate Bank Holiday weekend (a problem with lively, charming young staff being attracted to equally lively but distant music festivals) and I know that this caused problems (unusually) with the sort of service they like to provide when over one short period there was the sudden appearance of several large groups both inside (really quaint) and outside in the lovely tea garden. Having read another review my feel was that this put the wonderfully Welsh owner under huge pressure and whilst the explanation for difficulties that she gave was frank and direct, she was not, in my opinion, 'rude'. My experience is that she always wants her customers to leave happy (as 'friends' as she says)
