Unfortunately they've only had the carvery on for a while, and even though we got there quite early on for lunch, the food wasn't great. Yorkshire puddings were tough, meat was a bit dry and most of the food was luke warm. Cake choices were great though (I had a foot long eclair that I took home). The service was fantastic and everyone was really helpful. Great area for kids although we didn't take ours this time because they don't eat carvery food.

Popped in here for a quick drink waiting for check in at the Premier Inn next door (£10 early check-in fee). Was quiet, food looked better than what we got at Premier Inn later that evening. Cake and ice cream looked amazing.

Fantastic food, fantastic service. You MUST try the cake from the cake cabinet, it's worth the trip alone! EDIT: We were so surprised when we walked in because it looks IDENTICAL to another Greene king carvery. We then learned they are purpose built like it, which is amazing as the system they have in place is much better than the leading competitor in carveries. In context to the other reviews, the way I see it is a carvery is always most cost effective than making a roast at home, think of the effort that goes in every day to make food on this scale, also because of how insistent veg can be at cooking, not every day will be a perfect experience. even though we went right at the end of the day, everything still tasted fresh and was delicious and hot. This carvery is also part of the Too Good To Go app so they are working towards reducing waste! Next time we are over in the Cribbs area we will most likely opt to come here again instead of the fast food joints in the area.

I've never seen a place so full as today. We'd booked a table in advance thankfully. So many families and so many loud and excited kiddies but the staff were fantastic and coped really well. After a long queue for the Carvery I was not disappointed as it was lovely and worth the wait.

Went here for the carvery and it was absolutely amazing. I’m vegan and the roasted vegetable pie was absolutely amazing. The staff accommodated to my allergies and went through the whole menu to make sure I knew what I could and couldn’t have. Adele and Brandon w was amazing and helped me look through all the menu and double checked everything for me. Josh was amazing again with making sure i was alright woth everything. Best carvery I’ve had as a vegan highly recommend xxx

Went yesterday at 11.30, 3 adults and 2 children. Seated quickly and there was no queue at till as they had 4 tills on to clear the queue which we saw when we first arrived. There was also no queue for the carvery as staff were well organised. Only mark down was no red cabbage which they have previously had

Popped in here for a light lunch, had a toasted sandwich which was very nice, staff very pleasant. Only downfall was that they had a couple of areas blocked off so you were limited where to sit, but do understand why they do it. Didn't distract from the nice food and service.

Turned up on a Sunday of a bank Holiday weekend, not booked as we were traveling home unexpectedly. Lovely food and great service. Staff were happy to find us a table. Only reason for not a four star. Kids eat free but it takes 72 hours for deal to come through. So we couldn't use. Which is disappointing not the pubs fault but the chain.

Popped in for lunch today and had the carvery. Can’t fault the food, the chef was friendly and the meat portions were generous and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. Carmella our waitress was attentive and checked that we were happy with everything. Will be back again soon.

Great service from the staff, were always happy to assist. Couldn't say the same about the food. For the price I'd expect more or even a full portion. Take a look at the photo, that's not a portion of peas.

Great pub food and carvery. Great location too with friendly staff and great service. Order from the choice of menus or try the carvery. I had a sandwich at lunchtime, the staff were attentive and polite. Ample parking. Next time I will try one of the outrageous cakes! Recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only stopped for coffee and cake. Nice coffee and the slice of cake was huge - enough for two. Sergio was very attentive and helpful as were his staff. Would definitely visit again. Also have 4 x 75kw EV chargers in the car park.
