This place isn't cheap, but you get what you're paying for (just my opinion, ymmv). Food was great, way better than I was expecting.
Alcohol selection is pretty much what you'd expect, decent beer and whisky selection, not so much others.
Staff are pleasant (if you're expecting bright smiles etc..
Great pub. Nice pub food. Motorhome stop overnight. First in a long time have seen a jukebox in a pub.
Wasn't sure what to make of this place. When we arrived there at about 7.15pm there were only a couple of cars in the huge car park, which didn't bode well. The decor reminded me of an old social club and when we walked through the door we were greeted by the stares of locals in the bar slowly chew
It was Saturday night and there were only 3 staff on covering the bar, tables and kitchen so they were pretty stretched. That being said we got a table with ease (although it was quite busy), you order at the bar and the food came out fast enough. We both had the venison burgers that came with salad

We're on a Brit Stop with our motorhome. Stopped here the night and had fish & chips. Absolutely superb, batter was fantastic, massive portions reasonably price. Well recommend.
Just passing though, looked going so we stopped for a meal. Glad we did, excellent value for money, quick friendly service. Food was good and portion size was good. Selection of local beers and lager.
We (my hubby and I) had dinner there. It is a nice local pub that also suits tourists who enjoy walking the mountain. The food was good, the staff was very nice, the atmosphere was also good.
