Great value for the price. The food was fresh and tasty.

Fish was decent, chips were good, peas were very green and ok, the spicy curry sauce was amazing... like old school 1970s Chinese curry sauce.... Brilliant.
Came in on Saturday afternoon since I was around the area and have been meaning to check this place out (from the good reviews on Google).
The owner is friendly and seems to know every customer that came in. He made the fish fresh and gave a generous portion of fries and peas. The amount of food is a lot for me and for a good price too!
The fish batter had good flavour and was still hot and crispy when I got back (takeaway only). Really good fish and chips place, would come back (especially during lunch for their deal)!
It's a tradition I have with my friend to come to this chippy once every half term/term at College on a Tuesday. Not once have they let us down with the food and today was no exception. Their 3 fish strips and chips sets you back for an amazing deal of £3.90 which is what we had today and it was simply delicious. On top of that, the two people who run the chippy Margaret and Romeo are a lovely bunch. They show their kindness through always making us feel welcome and it's clear that they are devoted to hard work. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit there and I can't recommend the chippy more enough!
I wonderful fish and chip shop in the heart of Crewe. We visit on a regular basis because of the quality of the fish, chips and curry. You can either ring ahead and they prepare your order or you can just nip in on your way past. The staff are very friendly and recognise you if you're a regular. We'll keep visiting and recommending to friends.
We have been going to Benny’s since it opened and both the food and service are incredible. Romeo and Maggy have become more like friends to us and we know the food will always hit the spot! It is great value for money, and everything is always done with care! My other half is very particular about how he likes things and Maggy remembers our order off by heart! I honestly could not recommend this place more! Service with a smile for sure! If you haven’t tried it yet, you really do need too!
Had a fish chips and peas and a plaice in breadcrumbs, amazing fresh food, delicious and the best thing is the friendliness of both of the owners, this is what makes this plaice! Have been here a few times when visiting my mum and the welcome is legendary, as others have said a credit to crewe and can't recommend highly enough

Woman was really nice, I only had mu credit card on me and she gave me food for free as her good deed of the day. Food was amazing 👏
I have just collected my food order and I'm still overwhelmed by the cheerful greetings from the staff. If more people were like this lovely team the world would be a much happier place. Plus the food was fantastic, good old traditional fish and chips. Oh and don't let me forget the homemade curry was delicious 😋
