Bit of a late review but me and a few lads from ZZOOMM found this place and it’s a bloody gem ! Staff are awesome. Portions are huge. The girl that served me is ace. She’s an asset ! The Donner meat and chips ! Oh yes ! Proper chippy chips too ! Good wraps and great overall experience.
We had a fish special which was bigger than I expected and I couldn't get through all the chips. The small battered fish was lovely and white and chunky. Would definitely come again and the price and the service was very good too! 👍
Both myself and my partner live in Congleton, but when we come over to Crewe and we want decent fish and chips we always go to Neptune's.

Amazing staff always very helpful always happy to help with off menu requests, food is always top notch would recommend everyone to go in and try the cheesy chip wraps which aren’t on the menu when they should be
I had a normal portion of Donor meat and chips, the portion was huge, both donor meat and chips were lovely and perfectly cooked.

The steak pie was full of steak and the chips were really hot and there were quite a lot of them there was enough to feed 4 -we had a large portion not realiisng how large it was.
Best fish and chips in Crewe by far well worth travelling the extra few miles to get there, we are just outside Shavington and have a local chippy but we travel here as the staff and owner have the biggest smiles and warmest hearts, and their food is by far superior to any we have tried since moving
Visiting Crewe and my son recommended Neptune. Portions are VERY generous, and the fish 🐟 was well cooked (no soggy batter). Those serving were polite and engaged in mild banter. Would recommend and will be back when next visiting Crewe.
I was looking for an easy tea and remembered reading good reviews about Neptune. I ordered two large fish and chips and mushy peas and it was just under £15.
It wasn't until I got home that I realised the mistake I'd made, as I opened the two boxes and found the whales inside!!

Great “chippy” in Crewe, I always eat here when I visit. No seating but great to go. The staff was awesome and they took time to explain a few things to a “Yank”
Excellent some of the best chips I've had in years
Got a mixed meat wrap and chips for my tea while working. Wrap was full of meat and presented perfectly, cut into 2 to save me messing around and tasted lovely. Chips were freshly cooked to order and small portion was more than enough. Ladies serving friendly and polite . Great little chippy....than
I was working in Crewe and absolutely gutted I only found this place on my last day there. The fish was fresh the chips were amazing and price was cheap for the quality and staff are super friendly. Great little fish and chips highly recommend 5 stars all the way
Made the mistake of ordering a large chips as was used to before we moved and it was enough to feed all 3 of us! Chips are perfect and even put cheese on the value box at request. Was so impressed I brought the Girlfriend from Liverpool down just for the chippy and the girls were amazing! A right go
