The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, they actually have a conversation with you and not just “hi… what do you want”
The food was delicious, you definitely get your monies worth and more, it’s quite useful that they provide doggy bags!!
Play area for the kids, cinema and free popcorn, you could easily spend a good few hours there and whole family would be more than entertained.
Great restaurant on the outskirts of Crewe, we attended for a birthday celebration, very welcoming staff and a nice Texan themed smokehouse atmosphere. Food was all very good quality great flavour and well presented. As a surprise at the end of the meal the birthday celebrant was presented with a birthday donut topped with frozen custard and a indoor firework fountain, can not fault all the staff there.

A not so hidden gem in Crewe.
We went there last month when I was at the Crewe Hall for my wedding with my wife's family, bride mates and my groom's men. We did not have a booking and it was packed when we arrived. We were well looked after at the bar while waiting for a big enough table. The food quality was good. The portion size and flavour were authentic, my wife lived in America for a few year and she could tell.
The service was attentive but not annoyingly in your face. At the end when they found out that I was about to get married, they even gave us a gift, which was really heart warming.
This is probably one of the best restaurants in Crewe, in terms of its food quality, service and value for money.
Really great! Staff were especially attentive when it came to allergies and dietary requirements which was very reassuring to see. Food was very tasty and the atmosphere was fab. Blueberry lemonade is my absolute fave and I've been craving it since haha!

We've been to Hickory's a number of times as its such a fun restaurant with good food and great service. Tonight we went for my step daughters birthday meal and it was the best visit yet!
Lucy was our waitress, and words won't do her justice on just how fantastic she was! So friendly and attentive, and she made such a lovely fuss of the birthday girl it was smiles all round. Lucy is a credit to Hickory's.
The food was fantastic. A couple of dishes to point out as really delicious. The chicken was moist and incredibly tasty. I usually have the Louisiana hot wings to start, but tonight I tried the magic rub instead. It was amazing. So full of flavour! I had the half roast chicken for main and again it was so flavourful and well cooked. Also the fro-co is a must as a lovely finish to the meal. It's so moreish!
One dish that was a little disappointing. My partners burger she said was nice, but unfortunately the patty didn't have the crust you get from flame grilling the burger. It almost tasted broiled which is a shame. Still tasty but not quite as good as it could have been.
Also wanted to point out the fantastic extra they do for birthdays. The birthday girl was able to take part in making her milkshake which she absolutely loved! They also brought out a doughnut with a sparkler and a message written in icing sugar, which again went down so well. Really made the evening for us.
Highly recommend coming here, it's such a great place with great service!
The first time I’ve been to a Hickory’s and have to say I was blown away! From the decor to the extensive menu choice, the place was top notch! The food was brilliant and staff were great. Will certainly be returning again at some point in the near future.

I've been to a lot of Hickory's now and this one is particularly great! Loads of gluten free options and a fantastic atmosphere. The meal we had was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I was raving about this burger for days!
We live in Norfolk but visited Chester zoo and stayed in Crewe. We was trying to find somewhere to eat when we came across Hickorys. They were fully booked but Luke was an absolute diamond and sorted us a table when it became free. The food was amazing! The whole restaurant was spotless and couldn't fault a thing. My husband was chatting to a member of staff, Ben, and as my husband is a chef they allowed him to go see the smoker in the kitchen and even gave him a little gift. This restaurant is absolutely amazing and the staff and management are amazing! Cannot give this restaurant enough credit for everything it offers. Simply fantastic all round.
I went for my birthday meal and the staff were very kind and the food was delicious. I unfortunately can't give this place a 5 star because the 6 people table we were sat on by the window was drafty which made us feel very cold (to the point we had to put our outdoor jackets back on) 🥶. Perhaps its only an issue in winter. Also when we asked for desserts the cutlery provided wasn't clean and had to get it replaced.
We have been here on a number of occasions. Great food and great service every time.
Most recently, we received an extremely warm welcome. I had said it was one of my childrens' birthdays on the booking and the gentleman greeting us made a huge fuss over him.
Orders were taken promptly but without a feeling of being rushed. Our waitress (receipt says her name was "Emily N" was really friendly and great with the kids. Other staff were friendly too; there didn't seem to be an attitude of us not being their table.
Food arrived in good time and tasted delicious. It's certainly not a cheap meal out for a family but great good, great staff.

After visiting another location of Hickory's close to Manchester the day before and totally have loved it, I decided to go back again to try some other items from their menu and pick this location. Although the other location was slightly more enjoyable, this one was certainly also good. Very friendly staff, good food nice big portions. Their milkshake with lollypop was the best milkshake I've ever had in my entire life. Chicken wings were a bit less special but still okay. Ribs were good. Plenty of free parking out front. Same irritating WiFi system here as with the other place where you have to sign in to social media to use their WiFi. Also same style of adding the tip to the bill without mentioning or asking. Really don't think that's appropriate, even though they write on the receipt that its for the staff and some charity and that they will take it off if you ask for it, it does put this guilt feeling on the customer for having to do this. They deserve a tip for their excellent staff, but they should not assume it in my opinion.
DELICIOUS!!! Staff were really attentive in making sure we had everything and that food was good - it certainly WAS! The platter was amazing and all the meat was tender + juicy. 100% recommend the pulled pork nachos for starters and the rainbow watermelon salad was super tasty. All fresh and it was served quickly. I would say though - next time I go I might skip the starter and have a desert afterwards instead because It was SO filling and delicious but couldn't possibly have anything else. We got to take leftovers home as well in a takeaway container which was really good and will be enjoying them the next day! Definitely an experience and, as previously said, the staff are super friendly + welcoming AND obviously fantastic food.

Clare/Claire was lovely and all of the staff were very welcoming. Highly recommend the pina coladas and the 3am Mac and cheese!!! I was even convinced to go for the 2 for £12.
