Lovely country pub. A little rural, but well worth a visit. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, lovely patio area. Great landlord and landlady. Very friendly.
Popped in on the off chance today after our sons football match in Needham. We were made to feel very welcome in a lovely warm & cosy atmosphere, the wood burner was very welcome coming in from the cold. The food was great lovely home cooked & satisfying, the kids cleared their plates. Although stuffed we found the dessert choices to hard to resist & we were so glad we made room they were delicious. We left very relaxed, happy & stuffed. We will definitely be back again.
We had a lovely evening meal last night with friends , excellent food & service , will be back
Perfect spot to relax with a pint and good food in a wonderfully maintained old pub.
Of you are after a local pub with a great beer garden in a small beautiful village you can get much better than here.
Great lunch, particularly the enormous Prawn Cocktail and the slow cooked lamb in red currant . Great food and atmosphere
Been coming here for the last 9 years when on our golf week away, great food and excellent service. We will always come back.
I came for the first time today for lunch with my Mum and Dad. We all really enjoyed our first experience dining with you. The welcome was friendly and the food was excellent. We said no dessert but we all succumbed! Pub food at it's best. Will certainly be returning.
Had a really lovely meal here last Tuesday night, could not fault the food, delicious !

Love the bell and the people who run it. I have spent a few good nights there when I visit Sarah and Lee
I used to frequent the Bell while based at RAF Woodbridge as a USAF pilot during the years 1970 to 1973 and have very fond memories of the pub and the then Publicans John and Audrey Appelby. My wife Kathy and I hope to be there again may 20th and 21st, 2016 while on vacation. I thoroughly enjoyed getting beaten at darts by the local farmers but the then warm beer was "different"! What a wonderful Inn and memories. Thank you John and Audrey and the "Bell"! Randy J Clifford
Our first visit to Cretingham Bell for lunch today.
Four of us enjoyed a delicious meal and first class service.
A great selection of menu meals to choose from plus an extensive special board .
We will definitely return.
Having had an excellent Xmas lunch last year, our Nordic Walking groups returned for two more Xmas lunches at The Bell recently and I cannot praise them highly enough. Great food, great service, festive ambiance, attention to detail and reasonable prices…what more could you want from a delightful country pub?
Thank you everyone and merry Xmas….we’ll be back again next year!
First time we have been to the Bell but will definitely be going back .... the staff were very helpful and welcoming and the menu + the specials board gave fabulous options. I am a belly pork lover so I had to go for that and it was incredible !!!! Thankyou to the chef AMAZING I didn't want the meal to end.
We had an excellent lunch here. The pub was warm and very welcoming. I misordered but the dish was quickly changed for the one I wanted without the slightest hesitation which I regard as deserving 5 *****.
If you like good pub food this place might be for you!! Friendly helpful people super tasty food. An excellent choice for dinner! Two thumbs up!
We have been here so many times this year and never had a bad meal, food is fantastic and staff work so hard to make it a lovely experience for everybody. thank you and we will be back
Had two excellent evenings here. Incredibly welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Great selection of drinks. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend a visit if in the area!
Excellent food and service. Welcoming atmosphere. Good ale choice.
Great country pub. Warm and welcoming, open fires. Good beer and good food
We planned to meet here for lunch arriving later than expected, rang ahead to explain and they were extremely accommodating. We shared the fish plate which was wonderful. Our children were well accommodated even though there wasn't a specific kids menu. As we were camping near by, we revisited for a drink in the garden a few days later. Would recommend without hesitation. Just remember to check opening times.
