The cod and chips was great. Real character serving too. Cod cooked to perfection, batter lovely - not too thick. Chips good - lots of decent sized ones - not all offcuts.
I had a chicken chips and cheese wrap and really enjoyed it. Service was good and we were not kept waiting long. It's on the High Street so parking is a bit hit and miss.
Only criticism is a minor one. At the bottom of the wrap, the chips were thin and crunchy. Good if that's what you like but I prefer them not that way. But that's just me! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Marked as a four stars because of the parking and what felt like a slightly smaller selection than a "regular" chip shop.
Great fish and chips all cooked to order so no soggy fish. Ok you have to wait a bit but food well worth waiting for. Dont order the large cod unless you are really hungry because they are not kidding about large. Big range of other things to have instead ok just fish and chips.
Two cod and chips, yummy. Too much for me but hubby ate the lot. Cooked to order. Excellent covid signs and precautions. Order inside, one person, wait outside. Certainly recommend.
Love this place. Staff are great. Food is even better. Won't go anywhere else for my fish n chips. And menu has so much to choose from. Even hot drinks
Highly recommend the Juicy Lucy with chips. The Lucy is a huge burger with everything thrown in. My weekly treat. And the staff are wonderful too. Always a smile and a chat.
Always good fish and chips here. And with recent times they've been very good with spreading orders so not loads of people waiting at one time
Went here for lunch had a burger and chips plus abattered mars bar and slush puppie perfect portion nottoo huge filled me up not bad £1.50p for burger n chips.
The staff are great always talkative love this plaice ten fold.

I came all the way from Birmingham to sight see had fish and chips which were amazing fresh hot food would definitely come here next time I am here.
Its a long time since we had such nice food, we had battered sausage and chips, They were hot, and the best chips i have had for a long time , friendly staff, too, cant fault them, well priced too, !!
