walked in for lunch midweek with my dog. the place has a large amount of decorative items as you can see from all the pictures. the staff was pleasant and attentive. the dinning room was large with high ceilings and again lots of interesting decorative items. the front bar was comfy for luch and great to look out the big windows at the square. The food was great - home made steak and stilton with skin on chips - and I was very satisfied. I took my second pint outside in front of the pub where the sun was baking and people we going about thier business of the weekday afternoon. The parking is not great if you're by car since there seems to be a 45 minute maximum on the street during the day and some restrictions may apply at night. Maybe there was a better place nearby I missed. All-in-all, high ratings earned the old fashioned way with good freindly service and excellent food at decent prices. Thank you.

If I ran the country all pubs in England would be decorated this way. Clearly the interior designer was on drugs. I visited during a heatwave where tables are on a square suitable for a game of petanque. Refusing to drink from a mandated plastic beaker, I sat by the window with a cool breeze and spent and age going through the menu and the specials menu, while drinking a cool Atlantic Pale Ale. Food was amazing (I went for the butternut squash and lentil dhal). All we need to know now is: whatever did the tiger, cow, and sea urchins ever do to you? Beyond recommendable.

The best roast dinner I have ever had , crispy spuds , tasty stuffing along with a generous portion of perfectly cooked moist turkey breast roll. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon.

We were invited out for a gathering of friends to have a little shindig for Christmas tonight. We had never visited the Three Little Pigs before and it's quite an experience! An amazingly eclectic collection of haberdashery all around the place. Plenty of friendly and well trained staff on to cater for the customers, no queues at the bar and the carvery line was well monitored too make sure that you weren't standing waiting in a massive line. The food was of really good quality and their allergen knowledge seemed really good too. If the young waitress wasn't sure, she went straight to the kitchen to find out for us. The food was lovely and we were not rushed or pushed for extras. All in all a superb evening! We all went home stuffed like a big bad wolf that ate 2 of 3 pigs! 😂

A very popular place on a warm afternoon and evening! Walls chock full of memorabilia, staff friendly despite clearly being very busy: kitchen turning out very nice food and decent beers available: what’s not to like? Thanks 😎👍

The burger 5 star, service 5 star, Thai curry 3 star. The pub is very cool inside, again flies in the pub, this was the same as others shops next to it.

When you walk into the pub your eyes are looking everywhere. It is decorated from floor to ceiling with all types of pictures, ornaments and trinkets. You could spend all day looking and you still wouldn't see everything. The pub is located next to a square where, I have been told, musicians randomly turn up and play a tune or two. The food tastes good and they don't hold back on the portions. I would definitely recommend the rack of ribs for a main (that could feed two) and the filou prawns with a sweet chilli dip or the soup of the day to start.

Fabulous food, very yummy. Went there as a group of 4 of us and we all said the food was tasty. Very different surroundings, there are a lot of collectables in walls, shelves, ceiling. These made for good conversation. This place is a one off well worth a visit!

It's been a while since our last visit to The Three Little Pigs and I am pleased to say we were pleasantly surprised when we returned. On previous visits we had found the abundance of paraphernalia adorning the ceiling and walls too overwhelming, but this has now been stripped back to show an eclectic mix of antiques, vintage metal signage and rugby memorabilia. This quirky, fun-loving sense of style has opened up the interior of the pub to reveal a comfortable, spacious area for dining or a decent pint. On sunny days there is outdoor seating both directly at the front of the pub and in the square opposite. It was a lovely, warm evening when we visited and there was a great, almost continental atmosphere outside thanks the happy, friendly vibe. What a difference some decent weather makes to supping a pint outdoors. The menu offers an interesting variety of snack and meal options. Between us we enjoyed the pate, tempura prawns, and deep-fried brie for starters. Good, decent size portions and each was delicious. For mains we chose spinach and ricotta cannelloni, scampi, goats cheese pasta. Again, excellent quantities, great taste and all at reasonable prices. The service was good, although the impact of just how busy the pub was became apparent when our starters and main arrived simultaneously. No harm done as the errors were corrected by the serving staff. Our one gripe was having to ask for cutlery and serviettes. These really should be available as standard. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable pub to enjoy a family meal. We are already looking forward to our return visit to enjoy more from the delicious menu. Hmm.....fish pie maybe? 🤔

This unique gem of a pub on Crediton's market square is a great place to enjoy a summers evening! Also...the food has improved massively, offering extremely delicious nibbles, pizzas, salads, burgers & tons of other great (& generous!) dishes.....Affordable too!

Went 6 of us for the Calvary on a Sunday you do need a reservation though we had for 12 and it filled up quickly. Had a great lunch there was a line up to get the Sunday roast options were Beef, Ham or turkey and the you serve yourself to vegetables gravy etc. The Calvary is 10 per person and then drinks and dessert are etc. All in all a great experience and the pub itself is also very interesting.

Very unique decor not to my tastes, but was very cosy pub, staff very friendly and the food was very nice. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely. The marsbar cheese cake was very sickly and we couldn't finish it.

Smack bang in the middle of Crediton this is an unassuming little pub however, the service was great, the staff friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. I dropped a star as the table was a bit wobbly and the chairs not very comfy where we sat. The bar area looked more comfortable but was full - testament to the quality of the food really!! We will be back!

Observing COVID guidelines. All the staff are polite and friendly. Dog friendly pub. It is on the town square so you can sit outside on the tables and benches with your dog on a nice day. Reasonably priced booze 😁
