We went here around 8pm it was not busy, super clean, nice place to eat and friendly staff
The two staff we interacted with were just lovely...very friendly and keen to make our meal a good experience. Their friendliness definitely added to the positive experience we had. The food? Freshly made and very delicious.
Atmosphere a bit challenging as Crawley is grim in the evening, and we were the only ones on the restaurant when we got there. So how were we treated?...wonderfully and attentively :)
I find you normally know exactly what to expect to get when you go to a Pizza Express.. the food is good (but the same as every other branch), the drinks are good (but same as every other branch) and the atmosphere is decent (and, perhaps, the same as every other branch). What makes different branches stand out, or at least be different from every other branch, is the staff. Here, they were great: very attentive, friendly, welcoming and on the ball. Glyn, in particular, deserves a mention.
I had a Romana-base American Hot, after a calamari starter, all washed down with a large glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, and I cannot fault any of it. The restaurant was a bit empty, and maybe that's why service was so quick. Or maybe they're just good.
We enjoyed our granddaughter's 2nd birthday today with our family.
We were a large party and Dario our server was very attentive and looked after us. The two eldest children were given crayons and activity books to keep them occupied.
Every one enjoyed their meals and Dario ensured our two granddaughters meals came out first.
Had a lovely Saturday lunch. Service was friendly and very welcoming. Food was superb. I would definitely recommend and be back soon. The burnt ends pizza is delicious, sweet and lightly spicy I ordered it with thin crust. I was surprised how thin it was and still felt fully satisfied.
We had our Son's birthday party at the Crawley Pizza Express on the 23/04 which was a Sunday morning.
The two ladies that ran the event were fantastic. Both of them were so friendly, great with the kids and everything was really well organised. All of the kids loved it and had so much fun.
The food was also delicious and such good value as they had a 3 course meal!
I would highly recommend having a birthday party here!!
I quickly popped in here the other day for some lunch, the food is always delicious but I was amazed by how lovely the girl serving me was! It really made my lunch that bit better, I'm sure her name was Jennifer so thank you for making me smile!
Food is very tasty... good atmosphere and is clean. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices and even better with voucher discounts.
Service is slow even with only 1/4 of the tables being full...took about 20mins to get basic starters and then around 40mins to get mains.
Excellent service tonight from Adriana. She was always on hand to help us and polite from start to finish. Lovely service and evening thanks to Adriana. Will be returning.
Wonderful place with good service and freshly prepared pizzas, decent wines & accompaniments. Its a family friendly atmosphere right in the centre of Crawley. The Vegan Giardinier Pizza and coconut sorbet non diary ice creams are my picks. Definitely worth a try.

Maintenance a little poor inside holes in stair wall that had been filled by a 2 year old it looked like & looking a little tired inside.
Nice quiet spot for a good romantic pizza. Friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. This time it was a great salad.

Service is always amazing and generally pretty quick. If they are busy it may take a bit longer but the food is always yummy and hot when it arrives.
