We had a meal Saturday night and it was excellent! The food was delicious and the service from Mathew our waiter was exceptional. Even in a busy buzzing pub he was efficient, tentative and humerous... A credit to his team and the pub! Thank you for a lovely evening, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and definitely will be recommending you!! 👍

Appetizers: melting Camembert and sticky chicken were delicious. I would pass on the mushrooms. For mains: the Aubergine parmigiana was the stand out, margherita pizza was ok. Pot pie was huge and good for sharing.

Excellent food, great service and lovely pub. Stopped off for an afternoon bite to eat. Had a beetroot wrap and onion rings with a side salad. All were perfect and very tasty. Service was very good and attentive. Pub is really nice and has a cozy feel to it. Well worth a visit.

Title: Unmatched Hospitality at the Hillside Inn It's not often one finds an establishment that marries hospitality, comfort, and culinary excellence as seamlessly as the Hillside Inn. From the first moment, it was clear our visit was set to be something special. The staff deserve a particular round of applause. They are not only extremely friendly but also attentive and conscientious, especially evident in their consideration of potential allergies and intolerances. This level of regard for the needs of guests is remarkable and gives one the feeling of being truly welcomed and cared for. The Hillside Inn's menu delivers on its promise. As an appetizer, the flatbread with garlic is a real insider tip. Perfectly baked, with just the right amount of garlic, it primes the palate ideally for what's to come. Then came the classic: Fish and Chips. With a crispy batter and juicy fish inside, this dish was a nostalgic taste experience that reminded us of traditional English cuisine. A special commendation is owed to a male waiter from London, whose name we unfortunately forget. His warm and inviting manner, combined with his deep understanding of service, significantly contributed to making our stay unforgettable. In conclusion, the Hillside Inn is a truly excellent experience. Over two consecutive visits, it did not disappoint but impressed us with its hospitality, committed staff, and outstanding cuisine. It's beyond question that we'll return, and I can recommend the Hillside Inn without hesitation. Here, the guest is at the forefront, making it an absolute must for anyone wishing to experience the essence of genuine hospitality.

Cosy pub. Really warm vibes and delicious food. Baked Camembert, Halloumi fries and the Aubergine parmigiana were big highlights. Also the chicken burger was juicy and chips well seasoned. They had 2 for £12 cocktails which were a nice deal. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely return.

Lovely Sunday roast here today with friends and our dog after visiting PYO pumpkin farm locally. The team were super friendly and really accommodating of our needs. If you’re looking for a dog friendly spot, be sure to look here! Dogs are provided with water and there are biscuits, even a pooch menu! We’ll be returning for sure! The kids menu was great, we were quite jealous of the pizza! Looked yummy! The sorbets and chocolate brownie are always great!

Popped in for an impromptu evening dinner. Had an amazing meal and brilliant service (thank you Robyn). Highly recommend the fish cakes as a main course that has a tasty curry flavour fusion. Bar area is very dog friendly too with a pooch pub grub menu.
