For Valentine's Day my partner and i returned to the scene of our first date at the Taj Mahal. We were very impressed at the less than ten minute wait for a table given the occasion. The food was beautiful and portion size generous. I found it a lovely touch to be given a brief history of my chosen dish.

I live near Leicester which is supposed to be the Curry Capital of the UK. However the food quality and general ambience together with very attentive waiters made this a 5* experience and something I cannot find at home. Well done
Ate here on Tuesday night with some work friends. Great atmosphere, excellent service but best of all the food was superb. I asked for a side dish that wasn't actually on the menu and it was no trouble for it to be made for me. Thanks for a great evening!
Can't complain at all. The food was lovely, the staff were lovely, and I took a doggy bag home, which I had next day, and that was just as lovely �

When ever I travel from Birmingham to visit family in Horsham I must have a Taj.
Visited with my partner a few weeks ago and I've got to say it was one of the nicest Indians I've ever had.
I've got to say, I wasn't expecting to find a place like this in Crawley. However, the place is really nice inside and has an uptown feel to it. The staff are really friendly.
But, best off all, the food is fantastic. I would have expected to pay much more for food of that quality. The naan was genuinely one of the nicest I've ever had and all the good was well presented. Will come here again in the future when I'm in Crawley.
Food is excellent, nice portions. Customer service is excellent, confortable environment. It is a bit expensive but very well worth it. We need to pay for good quality!!! Will come back for sure! Thank you!

We have recently moved into the area and working our way round takeaway options. The food quality and care taken to prepare the food and ensure food stays hot was great.
You can tell the quality of ingredients used. 100% would recommend and I can assure you we will be returning.

After booking for an overnight stay nearby for an early flight from Gatwick we went here.
Wow. Onion Bahji was perfect. Light and fluffy with onion nice and crisp not the usual rolled ball of gloop. Best I have had in a long time.
The curries were delicious, I had Chicken Jalfrezi, wife had something with star anise in. Rice perfect. Oh and the Bombay potatoes were really good. I could happily have a plate of these alone. The restaurant is a nice surprise for the location. Mezzanine floor and a good setting. We would definitely go again if the opportunity arises.
Our last dining time before returning back to Canada. Walk in off of the street. So glad we did. Highly suggest this place. pricey but well worth it. Delicious Indian beer.
Had a lunch at Taj Mahal recently. Taste was very exquisite — and extremely authentic! The Management- Led by Mr Hussain - is always courteous, helpful & ready to go extra mile to make overall experience a memorable one. Recommended if you are in Crawley or have enough time before catching a flight from Gatwick.

After about 30years I decided to try this restaurant again as so many different ones have popped up over the years! Wow this place is by far the best in the area without a doubt. Being a perfectionist I notice everything. Firstly the interior is professionally decorated with clean, crisp lines & is not bodged. It looks immaculately clean everywhere including the toilets. The dining area is warm & welcoming which is nice on these cold nights as I’ve had to keep my coat on in other places. So before you even look at the menu you already feel valued! Next is the delicious food. The flavours are all different & tasty without being over powering or just a mish mash. I compare to quality hifi where you can hear every instrument.. The chicken we had the texture of organic meat. To sum up The Taj Mahal Crawley maybe be slightly more pricey than elsewhere but in my opinion you get so much more for your money & whilst it keeps these standards it is my only Indian restaurant. I have also had a takeaway collection when my son was visiting & the food was equally as delicious. First Class. Thank you. Jayson

This restaurant has been continuously open for as long as I can remember so that says something by itself. The staff were professional and attentive and the food is excellent. Will definitely visit again.
The best Indian restaurant this side of London. Amazing food, attractive interior, and friendly staff... Nandan was our waiter and very much made us feel at home. Two thumbs up!

Stylish and nicely layer out restaurant with highly service oriented hospitality. I had a dish from the specialty menu and the restaurant recommended me a veggie side dish with that. It worked great - lovely dish. One of us found to her surprise that her dish was much too spicy for her; in no time the restaurant organized a new dish for her. That is service!
