Most friendly pub. Staff and landlords are lovely, nothing too much trouble. Went for a 70th to find the land lord had put banners up to make the birthday girl feel special. As for the food, always good. Recommend the liver and bacon, but bring your appetite with you. Handsome size meals, great choice and would recommend their sunday roasts

Such a great old school pub atmosphere, no juke box, no sports tv, just packed with people enjoying conversation. Good menu, we will be there next Sunday for lunch.

I often meet my friends at the Plough during the week - to eat rather than drink. We enjoy the friendly local atmosphere. The only drawback for me, not eating meat, is the Sunday lunch. While everyone else tucks into a traditional roast I am served only vegetables. And an outsize Yorkshire pudding. I know others who go elsewhere because of this. Would you consider having a ready made protein dish, such as a one of the frozen Quorn fillets, available? Quick and simple and a popular alternative I think you'll find. Thanks for considering this.

First class service, Gorgeous tasty homely food. An example to many we have tried both locally and afar. Well done we will be back but we'll book next time. Fab.

Fantastic experience. The ambience was amazing. Food was delicious, it was served hot and fresh. Carol was very kind and made us feel home. So much culture. Folks come here every week. It is a must eat/drink place.

The Plough in Ifield Green is my favourite pub as the food is fantastic and reasonably priced, and the staff are extremely friendly. The roast dinner and the burgers are especially tasty!

Had dinner on 1st August. 23. Haven’t been in an English pub for years and this was a very pleasant surprise. Perfect village pub. Great ambiance, customer service , food and wine. The Chardonnay was excellent and went well with the scampi. My brother had the single burger cooked to his taste and he’d highly recommend it. We'll be back

There's an excellent atmosphere in summer out the front of this charming pub, bunting and all! Pints are reasonably priced and poured expertly. The food can take a while at times - which is fine, as it's a relaxing wait :)

We were in on Friday a lovely place to eat staff were very friendly. The food was outstanding chicken and mushroom pie with chips cabbage green beans and carrots. My daughter had the burger which she said was the best she’s ever tasted. Will definitely be back next time we are down from Scotland.

Enjoyed every bit of it, staff very friendly wasn't to busy or noise. Music was low enough for you to have a chat and don't shout

Popped in for a quick drink with my son, staff were friendly and it has a cosy atmosphere. Nice to be in a 'proper' pub, not many of them left in Crawley! Didn't have food but it looked good from what I saw

Stopped for a snack here. The small slightly dated bar area was filled with a giant but incredibly polite, friendly barman, who was clearly well known among the locals. Drinks were good, and the snack food was decent too. We had a bacon and brie baguette and a chicken salad sandwich, both were tasty but not life changing. Overall, would certainly return for the nice atmosphere but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
