Amazing food and service. Definitely up there with one of the best local and beyond places for a date night. Wine and dine for £100 (3 courses and a bottle Of wine) worth every penny. Can’t wait to return!
Exceptional service from our attentive waitress, very nice food and great drink. Could have been better with their gluten intolerance understanding, but this did not have an adverse effect on our evening. Will definitely be going back there.
Not your “typical pub lunch” We stopped here on a whim for my daughters 18th as we were passing by as parking was easy and it was on route to where we were going. Alysia (served us) Was great, very friendly, helpful, top class quality service (well done) High end, amazing food and pretty well pric
Had a great meal tonight. The decor was really inviting and modern and the staff were lovely especially Helen who served our table - we ordered loads! Food was really great with many good options including steak and burgers as well as linguine options etc and the mini puddings and hot chocolate’s we
Gastro pub style, tables not too crammed and accommodated our family group of 13 very well. Very tasty food!
Have been here multiple times now for Sunday roasts as well as Saturday night meal. Service is great, food is great, really nice warm atmosphere. Dog and baby friendly, separate and full vegan menu too. Highly recommend.
Booked this place for my sisters baby shower, the team were so lovely from the minute we stepped in! We were allowed in 2hrs before opening time to decorate and had no problems at all. Food was delicious, very good size portion and lovely seating area which was private. Would definitely recommend! T
My friend and I went today to have a roast and did not disappoint. Service was wonderful. Helen was very lovely and attentive. Bless her having to run back and forth to check my food didn’t have nuts in (as I’m allergic). Even though it was busy Sunday the service was quick. The food was delicious,
Great food. Loved the mini dessert and drink option. Had an apple crumble and a latte.
We went for lunch, it's a lovely pub inside and can just imagine the atmosphere at night. Service was good 👍
We had a graduation party here and they gave us a private part of the restaurant for our 15 guests. The food was great and came out in good time and nice and hot. The staff were also very attentive and helped set up the room to our preference. All in all I would highly recommend the Dukes Head.
Would have been a 5, but service was a little slow due to high volume. Food was excellent, could have been slightly hotter. Good portion size for children's meal. Coffee and mini dessert was good value.
A quaint pub just off the side of the road with some rather homely decor and welcoming staff. The seating arrangement inside was comfortable enough though the tables were far too small. The chicken I had was well cooked and moist and the chunky chips were a delight, though the prices were on the up
Booked here last moment for a Sunday roast and it turned out to be possibly the best roast the 3 people I was with and I had ever had. Between the 4 of us we had the duo of beef, pork belly and trio roast and each plate was amazing and perfectly cooked. Decent Guinness on tap too. Definitely coming
The food was amazing, waiting time between food was perfect. Great atmosphere. The only downside was the lights were very bright , a more romantic atmosphere and the visit would have been 10/10
Lovely spontaneous evening at the dukes head. We were surprised at how busy the car park was! But after dinner, not surprised at all. The manager who sat us and kept an eye on us was first rate, clearly trained very well and also just a really lovely person. Food was nicely prepared and catered well
