Just a short visit as we were doing a day's tour of Shropshire. A very well kept pub, with a selection of ales. Very friendly owners who made our party very welcome.

Stunning food and great friendly staff. Called last minute for a table and went out of their way to accommodate us even though they were fully booked. Food was beautiful as well. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience visiting this pub. Beautiful location, very friendly, helpful staff, and the best fish and chips I've ever eaten!

We visited on a Friday night whilst staying at a nearby campsite. The Kangaroo has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and everyone (staff and locals) were so friendly and great company. It was fish and chip night; we had a very generous portion which tasted lovely. Reasonable pricing too. Super friendly towards our dog. Would 100% recommend and come again.

A proper country pub with wood fire and cosy atmosphere. This was the only pub within walking distance of our accommodation and it didn’t let us down. We had Sunday lunch and it was delicious; get there early to avoid missing out on your meat of choice. The chef spoke to us about our meal and was super accommodating. Wednesday is fish and chip night and it is popular with the local community. We went, we ate and we were truly satisfied! The chips were proper homemade chunky chips and the mushy peas had a great flavour. The fish was sublime - light, flaky, and the batter was crispy and flavoursome. We could tell that the oil was clean and fresh and it didn’t have that greasy after taste so common with fried pub food. The only downside is that food is only served a few set evenings of the week. When there are limited resources within walking distance it would be nice to pop there for lunch on a whim. Even just sandwiches would be nice.
