The best service and seafood ever. Had a lovely table with a glorious view of the harbour and dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The seafood platter was fantastic as was the attentive service. Great value for a lovely experience.

Lovely food, excellent service from friendly staff. I had scallops and paella and both were delicious. We were a party of 10 and everyone raved about their food. Next time - the seafood platter!

Having walked to Dunstanburgh Castle we decided it would be nice to have a meal before leaving Craster. We went into this little gem on the off chance and we were lucky. The meal was excellent and the staff were lovely. Well worth a visit.

Great restaurant in every way, never tasted kippers so good. After our meal we went into the shop and bought fish and seafood to take home which was also very good.

Stopped off for lunch. No reservation but they were able to find space for us. Excellent menu for a seafood lover. Encouraged by the aromas from the smokehouse I had to have kipper. None finer. Nice people, good service great food. We will return.

Good food with many dishes featuring the smoked fish from their smoke house. Lovely view of harbour and castle if you get a table by the window. Lovely staff but service was slow.

I can't praise this restaurante enough. The smoked haddock (Portuguese style) was delicious. The proprietor (Vanessa) was so welcoming and hospitable, her warmth shone through. The other waitresses were also very friendly. The menu had a good range of choices and our food was delicious. If you can, save room for the deserts as they are homemade and sounded amazing. The decor is tasteful and feels true to the locality of Craster.

Fabulous meal. Fantastic staff. Brilliant ambience all in a very relaxed atmosphere. One of the best eating out experiences my wife and I have enjoyed in a long time. Seafood platter with nothing left out and a Thai monkfish curry to die for. Delicious

Managed to squeeze us in despite not booking in advance. Fabulous, friendly staff who clearly cared about the restaurant and made us feel welcomed and not rushed. Enjoyed fabulous fresh seafood (smoked fish produced in the adjacent smokehouse) some dishes with a Portuguese/Brazilian twist which gave a great variety to the menu. Top quality food, great selection of drinks, great service and perfectly positioned for views over the sea front. Highly recommended but definitely book as it gets busy!

Had a lunch of fish and chips during my bike ride through the country and both my stomach and palate were very pleased with my choice of restaurant. While the batter was pretty unexciting, the fish itself made the dish shine. It was fresh, soft without feeling mushy, and full of flavour. Loved every single bite so much I decided to forgo the tartare sauce in order to be able to properly enjoy the fish. Good chips too. The service was prompt and friendly, and the location was pleasantly occupied without feeling busy. I do recommend the restaurant!

Superlative fish food restaurant, would match many of the best in Britain. Fabulous menu with Brazilian twists. If this wasn't enough reason to visit, the location and its view of the harbour, and the genuine warmth of the staff, would be two additional reasons. Unsurpassable eating experience; top notch, full marks.

The Seafood Restaurant was tremendous and we didn’t feel like we missed out at all. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. It was everything that we had hoped from the famous kipper town. Everything is amazing. I highly recommended this place.
