I visited this cafe today with my toddler who decided to have a huge meltdown and it quickly became a stressful experience however the staff were amazing. They tried to help and were very understanding of the situation when I had to leave quickly. I will certainly be going back there when I get the chance!
Absolutely Brilliant food Service speed and very very good value can’t praise the Management and Staff highly enough and they never rush you . Me and my Wife have had some totally memorable Meals 👍👍👍
My wife and I looked all over for 24 navy candlesticks for our recent wedding and came across exactly what we were looking for at One 40 during a visit in the summer. They looked great at our wedding and the staff at One 40 were so helpful ensuring we chose the straightest candles (due to the summer heat) and the shop has become one of our favourites to visit as we have recently moved to the area. Thanks for helping make our wedding so beautiful!
We've always loved one 40 in the past and although it's still nice, it's v noisy in the cafe.
Our meal was good but v expensive, in as much as a bap with bacon was £6.50 which was ok, but for half an avocado in with it made it £9.00, which is ridiculous. If a barrier was put up dividing the coffee making machine from the counter it would make it easier to communicate. The wall side has wooden benches which could really do with the odd cushion.
Really love this cafe and gift shop. It has something for everyone, all sorts of interesting and eclectic gifts for men, women and children. The cafe is very popular and the staff are always great. Something for everyone and every budget. Well worth a visit anytime you are in Cranleigh, Surrey.
Lovely department site with a delightful coffee shop at the back of the shop up a staircase.

Air conditioning and comfy seating above the shop floor. Great place to buy gifts and clothing if you are looking for something unusual or unique. Closed on Mondays.
