The Black Horse Inn - Cranham - Photo album

A brilliant stop on my hike through this part of the Cotswolds on a sunny day. The landlord shared that he'll shortly retire and transfer the running of the pub to the residents of this lovely village. I particularly liked the cosiness baked-in to this memorable pub, along with the warm decor and th
A lovely little village pub. Food was absolutely fantastic. Best to phone and check they are serving food and book your table as it is a small pub. Friendly service and if I ever go back to the cotswolds I will be going back to this place.
Been back twice in the last weeks, my friends and I love the food,( which is really plentiful! ) also the snug feeling of a true country pub with a log fire....dogs are welcome, and the walks are so close to the pub. Dave the landlord and his staff are friendly and welcoming, excellent little retrea
Working nearby for the day, I had heard of this place, and so pottered along the lovely lanes about 7pm enjoying the drive. Arriving to find several locals sitting outside and laughter seemed to set a great atmosphere. The pop was really good, and unusually for me I chose to eat a burger and chips.
Very enjoyable pub lunch. Real ales. Log fire. Friendly landlord and locals.
The pub is closed the early part of the week. But if you visit whether it be for their selection of Real Ales or Homemade Dishes, you won't be disappointed. Mind you, you may have to put up with the Landlord's "corny jokes".
Superb Sunday roast and a crumble & custard to die for. Great service lovely friendly staff all in front of a beautiful log fire. 👏
Lovely little country pub. Nathan the barman is always so welcoming, we always add a visit whilst walking through the woods in Cranham. Lovely atmosphere in the pub, locals are very friendly.
Lovely little country pub. Friendly staff & locals. Food is wonderful and homecooked! Large portions and very reasonable prices!
Off the beaten path, along narrow roads, this pub is the heart of the village. Delicious home cooked food and really good ale in a beautiful valley setting. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Worthy of 5 stars.
