Spent a beautiful day here on my own. Arrived at just after 10am on a Sunday, so it was quick and easy to get in and park. I took the long purple route first, round the lake and the outskirts of the estate, very nice route, clearly signposted. The tower and gardens are beautiful. It's like a maze o
A wonderful place to visit. Beautiful gardens, outstanding architecture and unusual history. Cafe, gift shop and market garden selling produce. The Priest House property is available on site to stay in for short breaks and have the opportunity to walk around the gardens in peace and quiet.

The restaurant provides tasty food from a short menu at a fair price. However there can be long queues. The grounds outside the gardens are fun to walk. The c
