I was in Sainsbury's in Cramlington yesterday late afternoon with my Father who is 92 years of age and has dementia. He bought two newspapers which he subsequently lost! He became upset that he had misplaced them and mentioned it to a number of staff in the store, all of whom helped look for them! The young lady in the cafe also offered to make him a cup of coffee where I sat with him for a while. There was a security guard Stephen Bird who continued to look for the missing newspapers and eventually located them about half an hour later. The customer care shown by the staff on duty and Stephen was exceptional. I can't thank them enough for their help and understanding towards my father!

The breakfasts are really good and there is always sone where to sit and enjoy your food. The area is kept clean and tidy and the staff are friendly at all times.

Had a very helpful young lady serve me tonight and her colleagues also went that extra mile to help me. Well done Sainsburys Cramlington!

Visited this morning and checkout John from Blyth was very helpful and packed my bags while he put my shopping through. He got my Christmas eve morning off to a great start so thank you!

Lovely friendly staff, the store is clean and bright. Limited stock availability but can get most things. I prefer to go to a manned till (I hate self-service) but there's usually only one in use with a huge queue. Plenty of parking spaces just outside the shop.

So good I've now swapped over from Tesco, the prices need to be kept competitive but on every other level Sainsbury's is better than Tesco's. At least for now depending on the prices and I bet there's thousands like me, ready or making the switch.

Small Sainsbury's in a small retail park which stock's most of the essentials, quiet around opening time on Sunday Morning, not many facilities...no cafe.

Lovely place, full of food at different prices. Bread, milk, beans and bananas.

Love it, just want it to be bigger to give more selection. I do see subtle changes that are improving the store. I like the area displaying more world food stuff and the inclusion of Habitat. The clothing section is also too small.

On a slightly damp Saturday afternoon there was comfortable parking and the shop was busy but not crowded. We were in need of a major shop: almost everything we wanted was in stock and when we finally rolled up to the cashier there was only a short wait. I nearly left some essentials on the end of the belt (oh no! the jam doughnuts!) but the cashier caught my error and the next customers passed the items down. All in all, very positive and I got my all important Davidstow Cheddar and Jersey milk :)

My local Sainsbury's; it has a TU clothing selection, small toy dept, pharmacy (I believe this is closing!) and an Argos. Like all Sainsbury's it does have some good deals on sometimes though. I often pick up deals on rump steaks, which for money are pretty good, last ones I picked up for around £3.75. Always decent deals on beer and spirits too, I like the world foods section, and they have a decent cheese selection also. The Patisserie Valerie selection at the back of the store can be quite good too especially if you pick up some reduced items. Overall a pretty decent Sainsbury's which we do frequent.

Not the biggest shop so doesn't have as full a selection as the bigger stores. Always seems to be busy and getting parked can be an issue. Be prepared to wait to pay for your shopping. Supermarket is attached to a shopping centre so loads of other shops to get what you need. Always clean and tidy with a full set of toilets. Has an Argos in store as well as a decent pharmacy.
