Just been for mothers day lunch with the famliy and cannot fault it, the service was excellent and the food was top notch. Will definitely be back
The Phoenix has been took over again just give it another try and I can honestly say it was the nicest Sunday lunch I have had in a long time and a free glass of procesco for the mums for mothers day was a lovely touch 695 for large lunch
Went for Sunday lunch yesterday (12th) and couldn't fault it. Generous portions and competitively priced. Struggled to eat desert as so full but went back at tea time and had the lemon cheese cake which was lovely as well.
Had the mince and dumplings from the special board with jockeys whips was to die for. The portion was so big had to have a power nap later. Caroline had the scampi and it was cooked to perfection. Well recommended.
First time for something to eat had the fish .really lovely .and great portion .would recomend it to anybody .and my wife really enjoyed her dinner will definately go back

The Lord of the Manor as its now called has had a whole new revamp .
The bar is better stocked , the staff were very friendly . Place is very clean .
The loos need a bit of attention or 5 stars it would have been x
