I can't speak to the food, but the bar downstairs and especially the whisky bar upstairs was outstanding. Upstairs chatting with Calum was one of the best bar experiences I've ever had. The man KNOWS his whisky, and not only does he know his stuff, but is great at teaching too. The selection was astounding and Calum takes you on a journey depending on your flavor preferences. Had such a grand time here and highly recommend it to anyone. Calum if you ever want to start a whisk(e)y podcast to compare/contrast American whiskey compared to Scotch whisky, just holler. :)

Great country pub and hotel. Very accommodating, allowed is to keep our bags for the day whilst visiting distilleries. Nice food, and great bar selection.

Nice bar and Dog friendly. Good selection of beers and whisky. Food was good, the haggis starter was nice.. Burgers were good even though there was confusion over which was 100g and 200g burger. Staff were helpful and friendly. I don't always tip unless it's deserved.. because the experience had been so nice I tipped from the change I received from my payment. Only after did I look at the receipt to notice they had taken a 10%tip without asking me. So only 4 stars for the Copper Dog.

This was our first dinner out on our holiday after arriving the day prior. It was so charming all around! The food was delicious and we made sure to get things to share so we could try as much as we could including our main meals. The staff was lovely and friendly! And the atmosphere was adorable and cozy.

Lovely place with a cozy and adorable environment. Great food and cool and nice staff. The oysters were nice but the burgers were exquisite!!!! Highly recommend to take a walk nearby to a very cute bridge close to the place after eating here.

Visited for a meal only. Booking essential in busy times. We visited when only one chef available but food excellent and no wait. Restaurant of Spey Inn menu full. Patio seating for eating and drinking. On site parking. Upstairs is substantial whisky bar displaying choice alphabetically. Service charged added to bill. 12.5%

I have been to The Copper Dog on several occasions and it never fails to deliver on excellent service and quality. On a recent trip, we went for lunch and ordered from the very good for value Lunch Menu as well as items from the new Speyside Tapas menu. We probably ended up ordering too much as the portions are quite generous but that said, all plates were cleared 🙂 I personally ordered the vegetarian Baked Aubergine dish which was superb to say the least ( I am not Vegetarian). Other dishes included Truffled Lobster Macaroni, Vegetarian Haggis Tacos, Hand Dived Scallops and Girolle Mushroom Risotto. If I was being really picky, I'd say the texture of the Haggis Tacos didn't quite work for me although tasted lovely, the Monkfish Tacos we're, however, superb. All in all, a great experience, thank you 👍

Food was satisfying. 3 stars for service because they mixed up 3 Hamburger orders(The orders were correct they were just mixed between three plates)so nobody got quite what they ordered. Other than that, the service was fine.

Very tasteful decor and a cosy atmosphere. Super nice staff. Really tasty, freshly prepared food. A great spot to stop for lunch (and you can take your dog in with you!) .
