The best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time! Absolutely faultless. Perfect portion size, everything cooked to near perfect. We had beef and pork both were fabulous we will definitely be back!

Great food, very friendly and attentive staff. We had fish and chips and the steak. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. Generous portions too! Best to book if possible, we managed to squeeze in outside at short notice :)

Wow how can I describe this establishment, friendly personal service, good range of drinks and the food.... wow the food every meal we saw made my mouth salivate! The fish pie had so much fish!! For desert I had pavlova with almond ice cream and berrys. 6 adults mains and desserts for under £145! I'd rate higher if possible

Really good Sunday roast. The vegetarian option was amongst the best I've had. If I'm being picky, the roast potatoes were a little hard rather than fluffy inside. Didn't detract too much, still mostly excellent.

Booked in at the restaurant for a birthday dinner. What a great place run by helpful and friendly staff. We arrived to find the restaurant busy and decided to wait at the bar for our table. The staff were extremely helpful and apologetic for the delay caused by a party that had arrived late and we're still enjoying their evening. As we were quite happy to wait the staff relaxed and made our short wait very pleasant. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The menu has a good selection of dishes to cater for all preferences. In all a fabulous evening and definitely a place we will be coming back to.

We had a lovely evening meal at Finnygook. Our table wasn't ready on time, due to a previous group running late, but the staff were all very polite & apologetic. When a table became free, we were offered to go & sit at our convenience, and had a table next to the picture window, with a panoramic view out onto the estuary. The food & drink were delicious, and service friendly & not rushed at any time. We've booked a return visit already, and are looking forward to it!

What an absolutely lovely pub. The atmosphere, the staff, and even the guests themselves. It's so relaxed and so friendly here. A very very dog friendly place too. Loved it. Also has good vegan and vegetarian options. I had their bean burger. It was delicious. And such a generous portion of chips, too! Located at the top of the hill from portwrinkle, I highly recommend coming here either for a meal and a drink or if you're doing the South West coast path or if you're just out for a day walk. There's a bus stop right across too for the walkers :). It is also wheelchair accessible.

We had the Haddock and chips with mushy peas. Delicate batter, no oil or fat and proper chips. Good selection of beers and ciders and friendly bar staff. Well recommended.
