What can I say, I knew as it was the opening day there would be a queue. well worth the wait food was better then the shop looks, which is saying something as I worked on it and it’s to an exceptional finish. keep up the good work Andy and staff, 5 star.
I never eat from take aways but I wanted to try Chainmakers as I’ve been watching the page from the beginning. It really didn’t disappoint me at all even waiting over 30 minutes! Fabulous! Well worth the wait.
This place is a breath of fresh air to the area. It is beautifully decorated and the fish and chips are lovely! So good to have a great chippy in the local area in walking distance! Keep up the good work!

The fish was perfect just The way I like it. Fishcake was yummy and chips were lovely too . Our first time tonight as we were away when you opened well worth the wait and queuing. We'll be back. Keep up the good work the place looks amazing so in keeping with the history xxx
Visited this evening. Although the cue was long outside, the wait wasn't. We had fish and chips and the fat boy kebab! The food was great and so was the service. My only quibble was that I had to wait until I was at the front of the cue to decide what I wanted as the menu is set back quite far. My eyesight isn't the best even with my glasses on, so this may be just me. If you could have a leaflet with the menu on or something so I could choose before I got to the till this would have been the perfect experience. Well done guys we wish you all the best for the future and hope all the other buildings follow suit. ��

And they were unbelievably busy as it was the first day - and I always think that if a place can still deliver top class product during their busiest moment then they will always be on top form!

Loved my Mini Fish,Chip,and Curry Sauce Special.Well cooked chips,tasty fish with nice thin batter.Had the spicy sauce (v nice),and will try the mild another time.Other half scoffed his Kebab Meat & Chips in a timely fashion!...well done& keep it up!!!

Well 1st try tonight and absolutely impressed. Shop very welcoming, Chips tasted delish and not dripping in fat like some chippies, fish was very tasty and the batter was perfection. My local chippie from now on!! Well done Andy and the team. Xx

Ordered Via app and my Daughter did not see if they confirmed the order. So called the shop and they confirmed that it would be 10 minutes after our requested time to ensure that the chicken was cooked properly. Food was delivered on time and was excellent. Great food and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful!!
A lovely clean and well laid out chip shop. Food is fantastic and decent prices.
We always get a decent amount of chips and these are always high quailty that were tasty and well cooked.
My wife enjoyed the fish and remarked how fresh it tasted and crispy batter.
They cook large fish to order so a short wait but we'll worth it.
The staff are friendly and efficient but make sure you have cash as they no longer accept card payments.
Chips were very good, fish was amazing. Had to wait while it was cooked but that's not a problem for fish that good. Was really busy and wait was only 10-15 mins tops. Staff are lovely. Ordered 2 large fish, 2 large chips. Awesome. I'm stuffed.
Well I was in the shop and I was actually quite scared. This poor girl was being verbally abused by this seemingly drunk man and I felt so sorry for her. He was vile and aggressive. On a positive note our fish and chips were absolutely amazing.
First time useing this chip will use again food cooked lovley nothing greasy chips fluffy fish lovley my daughter had a kebab never left any for me wife had mixed meat chips

Great tasting fish and chips served by friendly, helpful staff.
They are very generous with the quantity of quality chips and great tasting fresh fish, which were the best we have had for a long time from our previous more local chip shop.
Well, it's worth a visit here, and we shall be making this our local from now on. Can really recommend the Chainmakers for a delicious meal.

The Southern fried boneless chicken from here is the best I've ever had. The chips are fantastic and kebab isn't too bad either.
It's not a cheap shop but they definitely provide quality food, good service and decent serving size too.
This is my go to for those 'no cooking tonight' moments, I only wish I could afford the price in calories to do it more often.
