Lovely cafe, friendly service, freshly made to serve. Only place I know that serves breakfast with tea, meaning prices include tea or coffee plus toast, that's how it should be. And our plate was piled up with toast that's buttered, a proper sized bowl of baked beans, a decent sized pot of tea for two (not the small pots -only enuf for one). the staff know almost all ingredients to every cake, soup. Besides few cakes and bakery items that might be common, there are some different pieces like cornflakes tarts. Also, every table is cleaned before use. There's outdoor seating as well, ice cream corner and crafts for sale. Lots of toasties, sandwiches choices too. Note: try to being cash if possible as signal is bad and card payments might cause queues when there's a crowd.
Lovely cafe if you are enroute to Grassington or Nidderdale. Look at for the sign as its a small round leading to private parking for the cafe. We had ginger cake and chocolate cake, so moist and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful… they have good knowledge of local area so we chatted few min of places to visit nearby. Highly recommend a visit 👍
Well worth a visit! Stopped off this morning on our way to Stump Cross Caverns after a quick google map search and it did not disappoint! Excellent portion sizes, deliciously fresh, very reasonably priced and all meat and cheese from the farm shop next door! A hidden gem, just wish I’d had a little look in the plant shop next door as we were leaving!
Owner has a vegan girlfriend, so she ensures there's always a good vegan/veggie option, and there was at least one vegan cake, vegan salted caramel ice cream, and vegan hot chocolate. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
A fantastic little find.
HERE IS A HIDDEN GEM .. NOT TO BE MISSED .. We stopped with a motorbike group, so we put their restaurants to the test, as there were about 30 of us ... we had a bacon egg roll, cheese pickle sandwich and chips ... bacon egg roll was perfect, bacon was not overcooked, the egg was not too soft that it breaks when you squeeze it, but once you bit in, yes ... the sandwich was soft, lots of filling homemade pickle if im not surprised as it was tangy which was lovely. The chips were just going crispy on the outside but fluffy soft on the inside, sign of a good chef, as most place don't care about the little things when cooking (chips).
Thank you we all enjoyed it today .... 😊
Amazing food. Fresh fresh fresh. we asked for any vegan/vegetarian food option & we'd been advised to try Lentil soup (Daal) with lemon rice. Hot food arrived with complementary bread naan. Cheese & Tomato sandwich was so yummy with fresh cheese. Food was so delicious. Lovely & very friendly people at business. Easily deserve more than 5 stars.
We'll definitely visit you guys again.
Love this place, always when going for walks in Yorkshire Dales this is must stop for us. Best blueberry scones ever. Today my favourite scones were still in oven so tried cranberry and cashew scone it was still delicious. Cakes are delicious as well. We had full English breakfast and bacon egg bap so fresh and reasonably priced. Can't recommend this place enough. Absolute gem ♥️
Really nice little stop. We were just here for the farm shop but decided to pop in for a brew, then with the smell of the food went for the cheese and ham toasties. It was amazing… I know it's just a toastie but the ham is thick and the cheese was just delicious, good size. The wife said it's the best toastie she's ever had. Really good value
We came here on a recommendation for the ice cream but decided on something warmer with the cold weather. Absolutely lovely! Big portions, the meat and cheese was all from the farm shop. The salad was delicious. Really really nice.
Friendly Brill choice of Gluten free cakes and scrumptious blueberry scones with the works. Visited twice during our stay in the Dales😀
