Lovely afternoon pumpkin picking. I don't know if it's because it's early in October, but the setup last year was better. You have to queue at the main tills and go back through the garden centre to the pumpkin patch, but not everything was there yet, so it will most likely change to make it easier
Had driven past the signs for this garden centre a few times previously, this time the curiosity got better of me, and I told the kids we would see the pirate play area... only to get there and it was all barriered off... with two disappointed children we decided to have a quick look around anyways
First visit here, not a bad place. The pirate ship they advertise is slightly underwhelming. The garden is nice with plenty of different plants. The coffee shop is nice with a good selection of things and there is a team washing cars
Lovely family friendly place. We went for pumpkin picking and loved it. The shop was well stocked and they had Christmas decorations for sales which I always love. Will definitely visit again.
Yes it is a small garden centre compared to others but has more of a personal touch,always made to feel welcome,well stocked at the right time for planting times,great kids area,cafe no fault at all,hot food is prepared for you and you have to wait for fresh hot cooked food with generous portion and
Lovely non-busy garden centre, we didn't have to queue at all to pay.
I don't say "quiet" because the pirate ship... And my kids were anything but quiet. But they did love it.
Not a bad selection of products, glad not to have all the plastic tat toys at most garden centres have.

I had my car beautifully cleaned.
I looked at all the shrubs because I need knew shrubs when the weather is OK for planting and then had a v good cup of coffee.
Altogether a very enjoyable time.
Disabled parking, automatic doors wide aisles, well laid out, clean and tidy .... disabled toilets are a very good size and again were clean, The coffee shop is very popular! Great coffee and cake especially the Maple Peacan Bake !!! Jacket potatoes were well laden as were the sandwich fillings
Great prices. Immaculate job and great time management. Couldn't ask for more to be honest.
Cafe is bright and the food looks tasty on display. Always clean but a smile from those behind the counter could brighten it up even more. Helpful with questions about the plants
Kids love going there for the pumpkins, nice place, well set out, can get busy
Very small garden centre! But has got a pirate ship that the kids love and cafe. No frills but nice enough.

Nice garden centre and shop with staff working hard to bring it back to its full potential glory. I assume the pandemic caused some work to be paused as it looked neglected in places, but that's understandable if it was closed last year.
