We booked a private hen party here and could not have picked a better place. Liam went out of his way to make sure that we had a fantastic night and the buffet food was amazing!
I would 100% recommend this place for a private function. I will be sure to return for a meal too.
Can't recommend the Yachtsman enough . Booked a surprise 50th birthday meal here for my brother with all the family and it was fantastic. Stunning food and staff were lovely .
We had an excellent meal yesterday. The service was also good, and it has the best views out than any other pub in Cowes. Book if you specifically want a window table!
It's good food and staff are very friendly.and we really love the view along the sea.will recommend and i will come back again when we visit with friends.

Dropped by for lunch, it was quiet, staff were fabulous excellent service, amazing food best Hunters Chicken I've had in a long time, mostly definitely will be going bk again with family and friends when they visit the island next for sure. We will be making this our local without a doubt. Thanks to everyone ���
Loved the atmosphere when I visited for the Saturday Night live music. Great vibe, a decent beer and attentive staff. Will be back soon to try the food.

Almost perfect, just a busy time of year so packed and quite warm. Can honestly say service was no difference if we had been the only customers as polite, efficient and food extremely hot and home cooked. Definitely service with a smile... well done guys you're hard work appreciated. We'll be back in October.
Popped in for a drink on the eve of the round the island race. Reasonably priced pints, though not much choice. However the view over the promenade and Solent is fantastic. Food looked tasty and was reasonably priced (although we didn't eat). There was relaxing live music and a warm and cosy atmosphere inside and a relaxed atmosphere outside.

Lovely drinks in the sun. Respectable wine list and the chef gave us free food as he cooked too much and didn't want it to go to waste. Highly recommended.
Only popped in for a refreshing pint whilst walking from Ventnor to Thorness Bay via cowes and the coastal path. A very nice and pleasant place to stop and fuel up ready for the last leg. Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere made the stop welcoming.
We visited here recently and were impressed with the staff, the food, the venue and the prices. We had had a hard time finding anywhere suitable to eat and were feeling frustrated because it was our 40th wedding anniversary and last night on the Island. We wanted something a bit extra.
The Yachtsman did not disappoint. The waitresses were the friendliest we have experienced in a long time. The food came quickly, and was to our satisfaction and the desserts came with a handwritten message on a folded paper napkin wishing us Happy Anniversary, while the plates were adorned with decorative sauce hearts!
They went the whole nine yards and seemed pleased to do so. We love the Isle of Wight and will be back and will re-visit here without a doubt.
Beautiful lunch with great service and atmosphere
A lovely spot with great service and food. Only thing is it was recommended as a wonderful place to watch the sun go down but certainly not at the on 21 August. In the shade with the sun behind buildings to our left.
Had a lovely 12oz burger with bacon and a egg about a hour ago. Very tasty. I would go back for sure. Lovely views of the Solent and South coast too. I would recommend to all.
Had the chargrilled chicken which was succulent and delicious. They also provided treats and water for my dog and the staff were incredibly friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
Meal was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The crab pasta was excellent, dessert was ok. Would definitely go back for the main course!
Lovely location & view, when people stopped parking right outside...Food was quite expensive, lots of choice & specials. Seafood Risotto was plentiful but fish wasn't very tender.
Lovely place to eat, nice to have a afternoon in the pub and just have a relaxing time. Food is lovely can't fault it.
