Had an outstanding breakfast here before our return ferry....bacon was cooked to perfection and was more than plentiful! They were extremely polite and helpful and lovely with the children, who luckily got to sample a free bit of cookie! Thank you. Will definitely be returning here when we are back in Cowes X
You queue up to order your food. If there are enough of you in your party, several of the staff will serve you to speed things up. They are very efficient. You carry your own food to the table. The food was nicely prepared and tasted lovely. I think table service would add a lot to this business.
We had an absolutely delightful baguette at Tiffin’s and the staff were friendly, generous and extremely helpful. Whilst we were eating the baguettes outside the cafe, the gentleman came out and gave us two chocolate and hazelnut slices on the house as he heard us talking about them whilst queuing. What a lovely touch and we will be coming back not for that gesture, but because the food was absolutely exquisite.
This is a great place that started just doing simple sausage and bacon baguettes. now they have a whole range of foods. But I like how they still do their simple bagettes. They have also expanded to the building next door giving a very nice little sitting area that goes straight out into the marina. Prices are quite high I think but it is good food.
Absolutely exquisite smoothies!! You have to try the passion fruit mix! Excellent customer service too! Very very friendly workers. This is the perfect way to top of a lovely sunny walk on the island :)
On a very cold but sunny January day we needed something quick to warm us up, and we weren't disappointed. We were told the soup of the day was corn chowder and seeing the hesitant look on my face I was quickly offered a sample to taste - needless to say we were soon sat down with a large bowl of delicious soup each. We were soon warmed up and on our way. Friendly and courteous staff in a warm and clean restaurant. We'll be back.
Tiffins is practically legendary in the sailing world, primarily because they are open just when you need them. Their sandwiches and coffee are just what a hung over sailor needs on the morning of (or the morning of the day after) the around the island race, or during Cowes Week.
Prices are a little on the high side (nigh on £7 for a bacon and egg sandwich and a Diet Coke) but at 6.30am with a thick head you’re not about to argue and frankly after your first bite you know you’ve got value for money. As long as these guys stick to what they know, they’ve got a licence to print money.
Don’t go past without dropping in for a sandwich, snack or treat. You won’t regret it.
Amazing food, great friendly service! Sticky toffee pudding is absolutely to die for. Thank you for making my friends birthday so special. M
Great place for lunches or just a coffee. Wonderful staff who are always helpful and smiling. Very good choices of ingredients for sandwiches, wraps and baguettes. I highly recommend here.
Great bacon sandwich and coffee. Friendly and entertaining staff. Good value for money and the portions are large. Highly recommended!
