Murrays Seafood Restaurant - Cowes - Photo album

We’ve ordered one plate of scallop salad and the 2 course set menu for ourselves with fish soup/fried pepper squid as a starter and coley fish/smoked haddock as main. The scallops are pan-fried in a nice way but the quality of itself isn’t the best I’ve ever tried and it’s quite pricy as well. We l
Delicious lunch here today. The fish was the best we've eaten in a long time. Service was good - very friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend!
We had a very lovely dinner. Though it was a bit busy by the time we came -- having our orders served a little late -- the dishes were amazing. The steak and salmon was one of the best dishes served. Creme brulee was my favorite among the desserts we had. Staff were fine. Checking us everytime.
All the food is fresh and beautiful! Oyster is very tasty! Amazing ❤️‍🔥
Enjoyed our dinner. Seafood was fresh. Preparation was unfussy but to the point. Fish soup was a little under salted but we were able to season it to our liking with the salt on the table. White bait was nice and plump. The crab and avocado salad was well portioned. Did not take a picture of the S
WOW!!! This is probably the best food I’ve had in the UK by far. Everything was so delicious. I can divide my life into two parts; before I ate the smoked haddock florentine, and after I ate the smoked haddock florentine. The server was super nice and the only “problem” I had was that the food was s
We went there twice during our holidays on the Isle of Wight. The food was amazing, it was very fresh and delicious. I had a half of boiled lobster and vegetables, my husband had a cod in lobster&tiger prawns sauce. All Covid rules are in place and the service was really nice.
We went for lunch and the seafood was done beautifully! Lovely specials menu to choose from. And the oysters were delicious too! Do expect the specials to be done fairly simply - boiled potatoes and vegetables, but frankly that's what you'd get in the best seafood restaurants in the Mediterranean!
I don't often write reviews but after 5 days eating at the current crop of "best" restaurants on the IOW it was a blessing to come here. £25 now seems the default for small fish main course. Murrays is still doing 2 courses for £27 and £7.50 for kids. It was fresh an delicious. I had salt and pepper
Excellent restaurant with delicious food and very good service. Would definitely recommend.
The best choice of fish and seafood on the Isle of Wight. Impossible to choose from Dover Sole, plaice, lobster etc all perfectly cooked with lovely home made puds. Very friendly too and the half bottle of chablis is delicious!
All things are wonderful! Nice food and good service. Lobster and salmon is extremely delicious.
Had great service and a nice time when we visited. The food was good but not 5 star. Starters were better than mains which were abit average. Reasonably priced.
Murrays is a little Gem of a restaurant. Whenever we sail into Cowes, visiting is a must. Charming Staff and a top rated Kitchen. Really fresh fish. It's cosy and inviting - well worth trying.
First visit. Can't rate food higher. Had smoked haddock followed by lemon tart. Absolutely delicious.
Partners food was amazing mine was a bit so so .. fish was underdone but they cooked it again service was great
