Small comfortable restaurant with friendly efficient service creates a great atmosphere. Food was very tasty with good sized portions and a couple of small tasters included. Wine list is very extensive. A little bit pricey but good quality. Would definitely eat here again.

Absolutely love this hidden IOW gem. Wonderful food from a refreshingly simple menu. The wine list is superb, with some incredibly reasonable and exceptional wines. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful little quirky restaurant. With no published menu, just turn up and expect to be given a hand written menu with a small set of around 7 varied dishes, all served as tasting plates - slightly larger portions than tapas, but not full meals. On our visit we got through 5 between 2 people, in addition to the amuse bouche, bread and black garlic butter and mini desert. We still found space for an additional salted caramel ice cream (slightly over salted to my tastes) and 2(!) bottles of Orange Wine, another unusual thing they specialise in. A wonderful culinary experience overall, thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely amazing! The food and service were simply excellent! Not to mention the prices!! We ordered 4 little plates and we were pleasantly surprised to receive 5 more complemetary dishes on the house! The owner told us that she had planned 8 complementary dishes for each table but we were so full that we had to stop after the 2nd desert. Our overall price for 4 dishes and 3 glasses of wine was £50....!!!

Came here on a late Monday night for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the sheer quality of the dishes and the hospitality. The cod was done just right, very tender and smooth fillet while the Thai green curry garnish wasn’t too strong. The loin of lamb was on the pink side, which again was perfect served with the sauce and mash. The meat was very tender especially being the loin. The night topped off by their amazing home-made salted caramel ice cream served with their bread and butter pudding, which was very smooth and not icy. All in all, 5 out of 5 for this little family run restaurant nestled within the town of Cowes. Outstanding!

Been here twice now and will certainly be going again. Just enjoyed a fantastic NYE meal. Best restaurant on the island. The black garlic butter is to die for. The home made salted caramel ice cream is staggering.

Oh my goodness, if I was a food critic this charming family run restaurant would score the highest communication. One of the best fine dining restaurants I've eaten in for many years. The warmth of the staff followed a mouthwatering array of delights from a talented chef. The cod for a starter and the lamb main course was cooked to perfection with delicious sauces. Thank you so much for a perfect evening with good friends.

Cosy location and friendly staff. Food was of high quality and great service, with entree, bread and desserts offered from the kitchen. Wine was nice too. Enjoyable dinner!

We had a wonderful evening at this unique restaurant - in a very small space the team delivers amazing food (from a limited menu) and a great service experience. A few surprising culinary interludes along the way turn the meal into a fabulous tasting journey.

Such a lovely little restaurant, a welcome smile and the food is lovely. We went here on honeymoon and so glad we chose Number 3 as it gave us a personal feeling we wanted. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful small restaurant. No menu. We advised the chef of dietary requirements and everything was taken care of. The food was stunning. We lost track of the number of courses we had for dinner! Without a shadow of doubt one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been too. The highlight of the dinner was a homemade lemon meringue ice cream!

Absolutely delicious set tasting menu. Wine list was full of variety. Very reasonably priced too (we paid around £40 per head for the set menu + wine) and the combinations were absolutely delicious. Go in with an open mind and let them take you on a flavour adventure. Magnificent! They also accommodated our requests and dietary requirements. Would recommend.

With a week of best restaurants on the island, this hands down was the standout winner. Anywhere which has the confidence to offer amuse-bouches is either a little fancy or has the kitchen skills to entertain and excite - unsurprisingly the latter. The portion control is in keeping with the outstandingly reasonable prices - with superb quality food, less really is more. But the menu combinations, flavour sensations and twists of classic fine dining made to look commonplace are just thrilling. In fact this is the only restaurant where I have both tipped and added to the bill. Ever, in 30 years of eating out. Make sure you book though since it's a lovely but very wee spot on the main drag.

A lucky find of simply great food. As a family of four we had a delicious meal. My son said the best stake ever and the lemon sauce on the cod was wonderful. All home cooked and being gluten free was excellently well catered for.

We had dinner there tonight. Absolutely faultless! Fantastic Beetroot Custard amuse bouche. We then shared starters and main courses and were treated to superbly light Mango Mousse and White Chocolate and Raspberry Panacotta. Seriously good cooking and friendly attentive service. Highly recommend!
