My wife and I come here once or twice a month at least. Tonight we were cashing in our steak dinner for two competition win. As always it did not disappoint. We both had steak I had pepper sauce and she had the spicy tomato and both were excellent our steaks were cooked to perfection plus they do chip shop style chips. We both had the Eaton mess sweets, which are fabulous, I have to admit I had 2 !
Staff are always super friendly with good service. I would highly recommend coming here.
PS their steak pie is awesome too.
We were in for dinner (mother's day), there were 8 of us, the place was full and quite a few big groups of people. The staff were fantastic as always and the food was fabulous regardless of how busy it was. Brilliant banter with the waiter as always, his banter is worth going in for alone!!! such a great wee place, lovely to see it so busy. Well done everyone, you all work so hard x

Had a meal here the other day. Food was really nice. Carrot n corriander for starter and could tell it was made from scratch, had mac n cheese which was really nice. Defo be back

Lunched here today , very clean and welcoming place staff friendly and efficient,food was excellent and very reasonable prices indeed.
Pea and ham soup, black pudding stack, chicken fajitas and breaded fish with salad all very well cooked and very tasty (photo of the fish somehow didn't save)
So much was I impressed I asked who supplied the black pudding and went immediately to the butcher's.
Massive compliment to the management as lots of places have ramped up their prices since covid but not diamonds, also big shout out to the waitress she could not have been nicer ππ»ππ»ππ»

Had a girly afternoon in the Cocktail Lounge with family and cant praise the place enough. Great range of cocktails along with some tasty finger foods. We will be back, so many more cocktails to try π
Well done to the servers aswell, the 2 women who were working never stopped making drinks and checking on their customers. Definitely a plus having such attentive staff.
I've been a few times and never disappointed. Staff are friendly and outgoing. Love the black pudding starter, steak pie main, and finish of with the apple crumble with ice cream and custard . And all at reasonable prices. Oh, I will be back.
Really great priced. Good choice. Gluten free options - burger was fab, slightly cold as the roll was obviously frozen and not heated enough but i cant even complain was still delicious! 100% will be back
Had an amazing time making cocktails with the girls for our birthdays. Would definitely reccomend!! Followed with a meal which was delish π₯°. The staff were lovely, and I will definitely be going back again even if it's just for the pina coladas....oh hang on, I made them π

First visit today for dinner. Food was on point, I had the sirloin it was cooked perfect. Staff couldnβt be any more helpful if they tried and very polite. Price was fair. Will definitely be back

Visited the cocktail lounge and loved it. The staff were very friendly and they had a wide range of cocktails available and also you could invent your own. Also had some cooked snacks brought to table which were really nice. Highly recommend the cocktail lounge.
Well it's TRUE what they say"you should NEVER judge a book by its cover"I have walked past this place for ages thinking Nope,don't fancy it,but loads of people kept telling me how nice it was and how right they were.Went for dinner,the staff were friendly and helpful.I especially liked the fact that on the menu it stated that the steak pie had a soggy bottom and I LOVED it.Fish was nice and crispy. Enjoyed our evening will be back

Great food came freshly cooked and a good sized portion. Good value and attentive but discreet staff. Nice surroundings and we were in a very private booth, which was lovely.
