We visited the Cross inn for lunch to celebrate my Dad’s birthday and it was absolutely lovely! The food was wonderful and Suzanne our host was so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning, especially to enjoy sitting by the wood-burner in the bar!

I have already posted a review of this place. Basically it's a lovely pub in a quiet rural location. The staff are very friendly and helpful & the meals are delicious. We said we'd return in the summer.

Excellent Pub. The food lunch time was excellent. Tomato & Basil soup best I have ever had. Lunch Time menu superb. The bar lady/waiter at table was also lovely. Made us feel so welcome, and to crown it all we sat around the log burner to eat. The icing on the cake, our dog was allowed into the bar where we enjoyed our meal. Will will most certainly return.

My partner and I had lunch yesterday here. Have to say the food was superb and the waiter very helpful and accommodating when we telephoned to book a table. I would highly recommend both service and food which was promptly served and exceptionally fresh. We will definitely be back. Thank you guys! Paul&Dana

Ate here for evening meal and had fish cakes to start and the burger for main. Both were delicious! Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive despite being busy. Effective one way system in place and felt very safe. Planning to return for a Roast soon. Highly recommend.

We visited here on Monday, definitely worth it. The guys running this place were really freindky, nothing was too much trouble. We had a sleepy Toddler and a dog with us but this was no problem. Food was really nice too! I just wish there was more choice to your menu!

We picked this Pub /Restaurant at random and we were very impressed. The location is very rural and is very welcoming. We were asked for our choice of drinks while we looked at the menu and both chose the Glamorgan Sausage meal. We didn't have to wait too long for it to be served & presentation was very good. The meal was very enjoyable & we were very pleased with the good service we were given. I recommend this place 100%.

Top staff, very fast service, steak night Wednesday is the best. It was so good we had four steak meals between two of us. Very fussy on steak and this has to be the best locally, no competition. For the price it's the best value and best food for miles around. If anything a couple more chips would be lovely apart from that, one word, perfect👏

Recently reopened. New owner, new chef. Great food at the Cross Inn and a warm welcome. We had steak, homemade burger, duck, venison and sea bass between us, all were fab and very reasonably priced. Coeliac friendly too. Local beer and good wine selection.

Very friendly welcome from staff and the regulars in the bar and the log fire. The selection of drinks and wine impressed especially the quality of the Butty Ale I had. We had a meal in the restaurant, it was excellent and very reasonably priced, will definitely go back and wish we lived closer.
