Suuuper friendly staff with some impressive accolades behind the bar. It's a nicely decorated, not over the top, interior and also very clean! The pickle tray and poppadoms were great, all of the sauces combined really complimented one other, including the lime and chilli pickle (which I don't usually like!). The Mixed Starter was very tasty! Finished off with a Chicken Tikka Madras, Mushroom Rice and Kheema Nan. The sauce perhaps could have been reduced a little more and chicken cooked a little less, but regardless it was all delicious! You know you have a good rice also when you can eat it on its own without being too bland! So well done overall and a fine takeout experience from "The Best Indian in Wales" 👏 ps apologies for poor attempt at presentation 🤣🤦🏼♂️
We were a walk in table of 3 quite late in the evening and it was busy, but they still seated us quickly. Despite being really busy and there being some bigger groups of customers, the service was fab. Drink and food orders were taken quickly, staff were friendly and we were checked on frequently. My partner had lamb Jalfezi, really saucy and the lamb was tender, our friend had a house special curry which was recommended by the waiter which was really tasty and I had the chicken passade, it was nice but I found the sauce quite runny and not much chicken. The rice and chip portions were small for the price in my opinion and that's the only reason it's not a 5 star review. We will definitely be back in the future!

We went here with our car club and they did us a lovely set meal on a Sunday for lunch as there were so many of us. We had a great time.

Indian restaurant offering set meal options as well as menu choices. Very well decorated and clean throughout. Service was excellent and the food presented well with great taste and quality. We took the set lunch option which was more than enough to satisfy our hunger. Well worth a visit.

Shampan Indian in Cowbridge is a great place to enjoy a curry. Always busy you can ring your order in and collect it. Ring your order in and choose delivery, but if you live in the area a lovely place to sit down and enjoy the eating experience in the restaurant. I loved it and have been back. Try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

Have been before as part of a larger weekend party but we nipped in on a Tuesday evening and even though it looks dead at the front, it was busy at the back… food was delicious, team were great .. will be back :)

We ordered a takeaway through just eat.I am not a big Indian takeout fan because I find the food tends to be very disappointing and oily.
This is the first time I’ve had a takeaway that just was amazing in every aspect.
Despite being quite a distance away they delivered the food in record-breaking time both times we ordered.
Food was very hot on arrival and everything was packaged extremely well with no leaking in the bags.
The bag was labelled with the shops details on the front so if you need to call them you could do that really quickly and directly. Everything was perfect inside the bag.
I totally recommend eating the onion bhajis which I have these amazing chickpeas inside it’s the nicest onion bhaji have ever had also the lamb dishes are fantastic!
We started with about three or four different curries and each one was amazing as well as the varied rice dishes and side dishes on the menu. The specials are not the run-of-the-mill that you get in every Indian takeaway and I recommend you try them.
Great food and service. When our three fussy little boys enjoy their food then we are always going to go back! 💯
