Lovely little lunch spot, tasty food, friendly and welcoming service- a special mention- the cake! The best, and most generous portion sized, piece of cake I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely gorgeous and will be returning.
Great service from this lovely place even though it was really busy. The food was delicious great menu & nothing too much trouble. Absolutely delicious brunch had here. The Penny Farthing breakfast was amazing. Best black pudding taste I've ever had. Gluten free breakfast available too. A must if you're in Cowbridge!

I would, it was a perfect lunch, well presented, good quality home made food, , desserts were amazing , topped off with fresh coffee, definitely the place to go. If your looking for a lovely lunch .

After a shopping trip to Cowbridge we decided to visit The Penny-Farthing, it was busy giving a great atmosphere. I had breaded deep fried brie, and Hazel a house salad with a couple of drinks. The food was delicious, and although busy, service was excellent, being non intrusive.

We just had the lemon merengue pie and coffee. However it was a great homemade lemon merengue and a good portion.

Visited today for afternoon tea. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Very busy on a Monday lunchtime, but we had booked. Well worth a visit. Half price afternoon tea with government offer approx £10 each.
Love the afternoon tea!! Staff are so friendly and wear masks so they are very clean and hygenic. Pretty decor! They have option for vegetarian as well
