Really nice small restaurant. Small menu with special nite dishes.
We had though food from the wall menu. Salt and pepper squid , fish and chips, and the restaurants version of seafood chowder.
I did not know if the squid was wholesale prepared or fresh. They were very good and not overcooked, so I personally could not tell...
The fish and chips were also a good size and a full meal too much for someone who only eats lightly.. my wife doggy bagged what she could not eat, but the meal was very good.
The seafood chowder was different. It was very herby (lots of herb flavours) it also was not chunks of seafood like I am used to. Prawn, salmon, white fish, no mussels in a slightly creamy base. It still was very nice and different.. not as creamy as normal chowder. And little garlic, if any? Like you normally get.
I took the rose zinfande, which went well with the seafood.
Coffee is from a cafetiere. ..
The strawberry daiquiri need strawberries not dried bits..
Service was very good
View was amazing out of the window
The view from the restaurant is amazing.
The food is gorgeous. Even the chef comes to check that you like the food. Couldn't fault anything.
Great fish and chips, cooked fresh to order.
Lovely to be able to sit in the peaceful harbour and eat them.
A lovely place for a meal with the most amazing view looking over the sea.
Really friendly and attentive staff who made you feel welcome.
The food was really nice. Superb fish chowder, great fish and chips.
A good quality prawn cocktail and very nice salmon dish.
I would recommend coming here.
Came across this restaurant on a costal walk. Really hospitable atmosphere. Good food, potions were very generous. We struggled to finish the fish and chips and the chowder. We had a nice selection of local Ciders. We would definitely go back. Staff need a special mention as very attentive and friendly.
Had delicious cream tea with fresh locally baked scones, lovely
Gorgeous chippy tea in a perfect location. Coverack beach is a hidden gem. We stayed at little Trevothan campsite just 5 mins drive from here 🏖
We been to Coverack over many years and had takeout from here with no complaints from my family.
This time, we came for Breakfast with a view.
Lady who served us was welcoming and friendly.
Breakfasts were freshly cooked, so don't expect super fast food; quantity is worth your time and if visiting the area what's the rush?
The gent from the kitchen came to check everything was meeting our expectations, for the record it exceeded ours.
Read some strange reviews about poor service and quality.
Not our findings at all!
Recommend, but always treat people as you expect to be treated and nothing but good will come of it😁
Love this quirky little place.
It's closed Monday & Tuesday but we managed to catch Wednesday night. It was curry night which smelled amazing but we had to try the fish & chips.
It was really busy and waited about 40 minutes with a local cornish vodka from the licenced bar they have overlooking the harbour (we have had worse waits lol)
The wait was well worth it! The food was amazing, the fish fresh the chips not greasy & the home made tartar sauce was properly the best we have ever tasted!
Unfortunately we couldn't sit inside the restaurant due to covid restrictions but went in to order and the walls are covered in its history which we loved!
Outside your right on the harbour with wooden tables to sit and watch the sun set behind the hills.
We got chatting to a lady that had travelled 40 minutes to get here as she had heard how good the food was!
We will deffinately be back. Thank you guys for the lovely food & all your hard work 💪
We had an absolutely lovely evening at the Lifeboat House. Lovely food and great portion sizes - the burgers nearly defeated our 14 year old twins. The staff were lovely and friendly and the view across the bay is beautiful.
Great fish and chips. Lovely view overlooking the sea. Almost £20 for the two of us: battered sausage + chips, fish + chips and a can of coke.
We popped in for a Roast dinner yesterday afternoon. The food here is just so, so good! And the staff are all lovely and welcoming. Perfectly cooked beef, homemade Yorkshire pud, yummy gravy and a lovely selection of veg.. the homemade horseradish sauce was delicious. They're not shy on the portion sizes either! It was a struggle to walk up the hill to our car afterwards ;)
The fish pie that we had here a few weeks ago was absolutely delicious too and the fish & chips (perfection!) ;) Can't wait to try what else is on the menu... :)
What a place !

Great fish and chips overlooking the harbour. Good banter with the lady serving. Nothing not to like.

Great restraunt and chip shop in the Cornish coastal village of Coverack. You can get your fish and chip fix for the beach or one of the many village viewing areas.
Alternatively Pop inside for some great home made meals or once again, those lovely fish and chips. Good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks at the bar, including alcohol free beer for the drivers.
Fantastic sea views from the large windows facung towards the launch ramp and binoculars for the bird fanciers.
First class Fish and chips. Lovely fruity curry sauce. Brilliant better. Great view.
